Awesome place to experience that which is Haiti. Definitely plan on coming back and utterly enjoyed the staff at SMI. Professionals in every sense of the word and I cant say enough great things about the experience I had through SMI.

I have been volunteering as part time Missionary to Haiti since 1983. I Founded an Organization; Mission Haiti Inc, Asheville NC and served as President for 30 years.
When SMI came to our MHI, Mission Center in 1996, we became friends our first trip together in Haiti. Frank Williams, (Founder SMI) and I agreed to offer our resources in Haiti to each other and to support each others Mission "To Spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ."
The first project we worked together on, was to build a working "Mission Center" at Guiton, where MHI had just completed a new Church / School Building. It was a pleasure to work with Frank and SMI. Since then we have we have worked on many projects together and I have been taking Mission groups to this facility as a base to work from, for the last 2 years. Great place to stay.
If you have an interest to volunteer for a part time Mission trip, I certainly recommend for you to contact SMI. You are also welcome to contact me for information on trips to Haiti.
A 1 or 2 week Mission trip is a life changing experience, you will have a different perspective on life and your Priorities may change a bit. You won't be the same after you have spent this time actually feeding hungry people, Giving medicine to the sick, building houses for those that don't have, building Church & School buildings, attending Church Services and many other ways to serve the Lord in Haiti.
