Very simple and calm. With a beautiful view of the sea and the boulevard of. Spacious rooms. The pool is quite interesting but too deep for me. Lol. Good work Mont Joli

I am a tennis fanatic. There are two hotels in Cap Haïtien which have tennis courts and Mont Joli is one of them. The rooms are decent and it close to the Boulevard where you can enjoy a nice evening by the ocean at one of the many bars and restaurants. Due to the recent political climate, tourism has been down resulting in the hotel altering its energy policy. In general, service is friendly.

Their breakfast is supposed to be ready by 6:30 am. Often times, it isn't ready until 8am. It does not offer a buffet breakfast which I find inconvenient. If you wish to spend the extra cash, you can consider staying up the hill where comfort is king and pay the extra fee for the tennis court and a coach.

This hotel is ok but is also overpriced. The beds are very comfortable but they need to do a better job in cleaning the bathroom. The tile and tube were dirty. The food there is good but overpriced. I gave it a 2 stars because it wasn't clean and the the water in the pool was black. At one point there was no water in the bathroom. I could expect that from a $60 hotel
