We had a reservation already since June and arrived there very excited just in time for truffle season to start. However, the premium price tags of 107EUR (on their website) for the tasting menu were simply doubled in the menu they gave us. They tried to explain that online prices were for groups only. The fact that the original prices were posted on the menu outside the restaurant proved this was simply not true. Felt like a ripoff. We decided to leave, so we can not judge the quality of the food. On the good side they decided to offer us the water and sparkling wine we drank.

Didn't eat there, so can't comment on the food as they only do course menus. The decor however is great.
The hallways are marble, there's a golden replica of that record breaking truffle and the Guinness World Record certificate! Visit the shop next door and watch the video screen as you browse and marvel at the truffle empire Zigante had built!response / report this review -

Good service during our lunch time. We are satisfied with all foods, such as steak and ice cream with truffles. The restaurant is very sweet to prepare some necessities in ladies toilet.

Great environment and service, one of the places to visit if you are into truffles and anything about them. Great service but the prices are skyhigh. Three pastas, two with black truffles and one without anything, with some default couvert by their choice plus bottle of still water are 600 kunas or 80€. There are many places in the nearby villages and towns with better food, not so posh for sure but equally good and much more affordable.

It's such a elegant restaurant, all dishes are base on truffles, if you are a truffles lover it will not let you down, reasonable price , great service, delicious food and great list of wine. Love this place.

My wife and I were there for dinner right after easter and we had the place to ourselves.
Decor is classic and classy and the service was impeccable.
The menu was small (we took a la carte, but they also had set menus), but food was very good. We had scallops and shrimp for starter, and steak with black truffles for main. All tasted and looked fantastic, and the steak was super tender!
I was surprised (and a bit disappointed) that none of the wines suggested for pairing were from the local producer, but was happy with the wines we had.
We skipped dessert, the only thing they had was creme brûlée with truffle.
It was a good evening and I recommend this place. Be ready to spend minimum €75 per person.response / report this review
