A very nice church to visit. The bell you aw in the church is the original bell from the time the church was built. In total, there are three bells. However, the other two was in other countries right now. You can see the scenic viewpoint from the bell tower by paying 20 KR. The entrance is in the church itself. From the main entrance, walk towards the left side. There will be someone collect money for you to go up. Avoid wearing skirt and when there are a lot of ppl going up. Once you are up there, the view is breadth taking.

The baroque style church is dedicated to the patron Saint Euphemia, with a very interesting story on how her sarcophagus appeared in Rovinj. Her stories can be found in 2 big painting behind her altar on the right, together with her sarcophagus. You can get an excellent view of Rovinj from the Bell tower, which cost 20kn. This tower is modelled against St Mark Tower in Venice.

The Church of St. Euphemia is a Venetian Baroque building restored between the 1725 and 1736. The bell tower was designed by the Milanese architect Alessandro Monopola, a replica of the Church of St. Mark in Venice. The tower construction started in 1651 and lasted 26 years. On top of the tower there is a large copper statue of St. Euphemia that was set in 1758 after the wooden statue was destroyed by a thunder. There is a wonderful view from the tower accessible from inside the church.

The church is absolutely beautiful inside and is well worth a visit. There are a few ways to get there, up the steep narrow streets with lots of small shops lining them, or up the winding walkway. Glorious viewing points surrounding the church with views of the sea and surrounding islands.

Church is very interesting and nice. Wooden construction and stairs in the tower are extremely dangerous, because of the state and age of the stairs. Horrible! Absolute not recommendable!

I SAW IT FROM THE OUTSIDE ONLY (IT WAS CLOSED BY THE TIME WE ARRIVED). THE PATIO IS VERY NICE AND OFFERS NICE VIEWS AND A RELAXED ATMOSPHERE.

Beutifull place you have to visit. There is also a bar beneath a church to have some refreshments after walking uphill. The place is full of history and smells like past. In one word heaven

The tower is a must see! Great views of the city to all four sides. Totally worth the money and the time to climb the stairs.
