We arrived as a big group without a booking. We were seated straight away and we had great service throughout the meal, not to mention everyone cleared their plates. Highly recommended to anyone visiting zadar in search of an authenic Croatian experience 👍

Service could be better. Fairly expensive. Cannot comment on lunch/dinner plates but the club sandwices were good. Outdoor board mentions that the club sandwich comes with fries but they did not have them, still they charged the same price.

Traditional Dalmatian food with a creative twist. Most of the dishes are based on traditional locally sourced or home made ingredients, but prepared in a way that sets this restaurant apart from other places that offer local food. We tried at least 8 different dishes (with helpful recommendations from friendly staff) and everything was very tasty and prepared with care. Tuna tartare and tuna steak were particularly delicious and very fresh. Cozy atmosphere and good service. Highly recommended.

We spend very pleasant evening in Pjat. Waiter helped choose best dishes and it was really delicious. I am shure, we came back here some time :-)

A cosy and romantic place for dinner. The food is excellent. I had gnocchi and the octopus salad. The bread is fresh and lovely with their home-made oils. We would have bought some of the oil to take with us, but they didn't sell them to customers. Waitress was really nice and chatty.
Only complaint is that the portions are quite small. I'm not really into fine/boutique dining, primarily because I just prefer casual eating, and value for money, but I think we'd return here for a romantic dinner again.response / report this review -

Phenomenal dishes of the day: fresh fish with chard, octopus stew with polenta, bitter wild asparagus barley risotto. Great value. Would definitely return if it weren't our last day here.

First time we visited we took the daily menu offer which was a complete stunner - for under 10€ we got a the course meal with an exceptional flavour profile, lacking only slightly in preparation (octopus was a bit tough, and the boar was not trimmed properly, but these were really minor flaws).
Second time we went with a'la carte items, which was again slightly sloppy in prep (tuna was a bit overdone, and we were not asked how it should be prepared). Not worth double the price.
Make sure you are sticking with traditional food, as it is waaaay better than things like pizzas or buegers (which are at most underwhelming).

Delicious, fresh, home made food from local resources. And always consistently good. Great for kids too as they are accomodating. The tuna tartare is so refreshing and satisfying on a hot afternoon! Kids love the chicken cutlet and french fries.
