We had lobster and fish with two side dishes(, which cost us 757 kuna).The food was okay, but the staff were unhelpful and not kind. They knew we were the only one who didn't get the bread yet, but did nothing about it. When we finally asked about it, after waiting a long time and everyone else who even came later than us enjoyed their meal, they said "i can give you the bread, IF YOU WANT." Why should we ask for it when they serve it to every other customer? And then they did get us the bread, but this time, without dressing. Just bread. We were the only Asians at that time and felt even sort of discriminated, especially when they kept checking out the other tables, but ours.
Ill neither visit there again nor recommend to anyone.
FYI, They accept only cash, not cards, which also is so inconvenient.

Perfect fresh seafood. Naturally smoked tuna was amazing, octopus salad and seafood pate with minimum butter content was mega delicious. Fresh fish was really fresh and juicy. Every time we come to Hvar, this is the must-visit restaurant for us.

Macondo is very local restaurant. The owner is "crazy" to take the best, fresh meat and fish every day. Very good choice. Don't miss it if you are in Hvar.

Recommended by our local host as fresh fish at a reasonable price, which turned out to her true. Nice atmosphere especially outside in this cute, buzzy area of town. Only downside was the food was very salty.
