Excellent pancakes at the restaurant cafe, over 50 choose from and they range from savoury (like chicken, tuna or egg) to sweet (nutella, all types of berries and fruits and nuts). I've tried many over the years and love the tuna one 😋

Friendly staff, nice rooms, good location for visiting surrounding sightseeing locations. Very reasonably priced. Quiet. The biggest shortcoming is food - slow to be delivered to the table, usually very bland, and small portions.

OK for a one night stopover whilst traveling. Friendly staff. Our room was small but suited our needs whilst traveling on a touring holiday. Quaint village location.

Service is friendly but unprofessional. People clearly have no experience in hospitality.
This place felt like the world 50 years ago, but a shabby version. We visited as couple with 2 year old child.
A/C wasn't working, they said it was temporary and got fixed. There is a previous review from someone else from July that already stated a broken A/C. So it's definitely not temporary. Our room, 106, was 30°C hot as it's facing the afternoon/evening sun. Outside temperature was 34°C when we arrived at 7:30pm. In the morning, the room was 29°C. Sleeping was impossible, we were completely soaked. Opening windows is not an option as the room faces a main junction and street lights from right outside the room shine right into the bed.
Checked out early (6:30am) as we couldn't sleep. Reception doesn't open before 7am. The cleaning lady was helpful in calling the boss and negotiating a price for us but we should have paid even less.
The shower water doesn't drain (see photo, taken after a quick 3min shower).
Beds are old, short, uncomfortable and worn out mattresses.response / report this review -

Horrible hotel in every manner!
A/c didn't work!
Shower doesn't drain!
Dirty shower!
Food is horrible and tastes like it's been cooked 20 years ago!
And worst out of all; when I complained and tried to video it and get a refund one of their staff was violent towards me. Had to call the police to arrest him.
This is no 4 star hotel. Not even one. Good luck to whoever books there.

Wifi, wonderful national dishes, food is great, located in the center of town, but also near a beautiful Frankopan Castle - romantic.
