What an absolutely charming place. I don't even know where to begin with all of the wonderful things I have to say about the Raspberry House My friend and I came to the region to experience Plitvička Jezera National Park. We were greeted by Thomas and his family straightaway with a welcome drink of homemade raspberry wine (delicious!) and freshly picked cherries. Thomas sat with us for a while and we talked as if we were old friends. The family really is so hospitable, it was a level of comfort and graciousness I have never experienced before with Airbnb. They truly have a special place here. It's very charming, quiet, calm, comfortable, and allows for one to recharge and relax. Raspberry house is a very beautiful and easy drive to Entrance #1 of Plitvička Jezera park. It is 30 minutes away which I personally feel is the perfect distance to give yourself so as not to be subjected to the "tourist traps" which are located so near to the park. Raspberry House is situation close to the town Rastoke, Croatia. Thomas gave us so many great tips about how to enjoy this little place as well, and we enjoyed two great meals there per his suggestion. The space is private and has everything you need to feel at home, whether you want to relax either indoors or out, prepare a meal, or simply enjoy their beautiful farm and gardens. I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our time at this gem of a placethe hosts and the accommodation were so charming and lovely. We sincerely hope to return again someday.
