Steak is great. I did get food poisoning but I should have returned my steak which had a funky smell. 4 other in my group had the same steak. My advice, if it smells funny, return it, if not, enjoy it.

The signature meats were very, very good as was the Zinfandel/Crljenak red wine we had a long with it.

Ana, our server was kind, knowledgeable and sweet - she seemed to have a few tables too much on her hands, leading to some waiting now and then. Not something to blame her for, she sure ran full blast and did all she could.

Service was great. But paid double the price for a tuna steak that was less than half the quality of restaurants like Vidakovi. Maybe don't go here unless you feel like pretending you are celebrating something or unless you have enough money that this place can be your McDonald's

The service was genuine and excellent! We had the tartare, the carpaccio, the Croatian tenderloin and the zlatan plavac (red wine). I would recommend this resturant the decerning customer.

Came here based on the awesome reviews, but was very disappointed with service. Service was slow and our waiter was very rude. Food was mediocre.

Went to Chops for breakfast and ordered the American Cowboy. Food is mediocre, nothing special. 'Freshly pressed orange juice' turned out to be watered down juice, which tasted like a powdered drink. I specifically asked for no onions, pepper or tomatoes, however my best friend asked for all of those but the waiter brought out my order x 2.

Our waiter was not tentative and we found him to be very rude. Our cup of coffee spilled on the table and he seemed annoyed when he had to clean it up and give us a new one. As soon as our orders were brought out, we did not see him for a good 30 minutes, so it was impossible to ask for things like a refill of water or more milk for our coffee.

However, the waiter was conveniently present when he brought out the bill and was waiting for us to pay.

The reviews did not lie. A little bit on the pricey side for a lot of menu options for those big spenders, but still some great deals for the more mid range customer. As pictured, we had the meal platter for two which cost 295HRK so when you see the size and quality, but wow! Some of the best meat I have ever tasted and cooked so well. Gorgeous! Customer service is everything I could've wanted, attentive and personable. 100% a winner.

The food was amazingly good. The meat is definitely a must and the truffled mashed potatoes a dream. We had also the smoked duck with nuts and cottage cheese. Expect high prices we spent over 50 euros per person for a three courses meal and cocktails.

Steaks are great but it seems they don't put much effort on side dishes and appetizers. The terrace is very cozy and comfortable. Service is great. All that plus location factor, I still find this place way too overpriced for what it can offer.

This place is amazing. The food is fantastic. Quality and freshness were off the charts. Get the chops seafood platter for 2, it can easily feed 4 people. And it's leaps and bounds ahead of other cheaper options in town. Don't skimp out on seafood prices
Book ahead if you can, this place is popular.
You will not regret coming here

Even though I booked a table on the same day (which isn't possible actually because they only take 1 day before reservations) I still got a table. The staff was very friendly and we had a nice chat with them. The food was good too, except for the mashed potatoes they were a bit on the dry side. I recommend putting a bit of oil in but overall it was a nice place to have dinner.

Nice food, good ambiance and professional service. I booked in advance from the hotel and got a table within half an hour.

I recommend their entré seafood platter with the house olive oil.

The waguubeef was cooked to perfection and the side dishes complimented it perfectly.

The only downside is, if you can call it that, are the tourists. But since I am one myself I really can't complain.

To get five stars in my book the restaurant need to be more creative in the sauce department, include some fresh green things on the plate and let the beef speak for it self without the black pepper. It is the king of steaks after all.

Great tasting steaks! Very relaxing atmosphere with plenty of seating in shade outside, with cool breezes passing through. The waiter was very friendly and service was good. And a bonus was the best tasting coffee I had in Croatia. (Also family-friendly, good for children.) Price is not cheap, but it's definitely a step up from the average in terms of quality.

I liked it but my friends LOVED it this is one for the meat lovers, my mate was talking about this place all holiday. I had the duck which was really good but my friends had the shared mixed grill and said it was brilliant. The wine was top notch too. It felt like we were eating in a pretty fancy restaurant but the bill was a shock (in the good sense). Recommend this one!
