A very pretty harbour town with many bars and restaurants ,post office,small supermarket and nice junk shops and day trips to Dubrovnik
Very hot days in August and only slightly cooler nights enjoy an ice cream on your evening stroll,the restaurants can be a bit pricey just for a drink,but you can find bars that are cheaper if you look around.
Only one downside is Cavtat is directly under the flight path from the airport only a few miles away,still left 5 stars feeling

Cavtat is a town in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County of Croatia. It is on the Adriatic Sea coast 15 kilometres (9 miles) south of Dubrovnik and is the centre of the Konavle municipality.

Today, Cavtat is a popular tourist destination with many hotels and private households that rent rooms and apartments. The seafront is filled with shops and restaurants. A ferry boat connects the town to neighbouring Mlini and Dubrovnik. There are often many private luxury ships and yachts along the strand.

Such a beautiful place, sunsets are simply stunning (I got engaged watching one so will always b v special to me) Its a breathtaking place but try eat away from harbour as its so expensive. Take a left at the Eden restaurant and there are restaurants where the locals eat. You can get a boat from the harbour to Dubrovnik.

Picturesque little harbor mainly for yachts, speed and fishing boats. Lots of tourist servicing shops. Opportunity to shoot nice photographs. Recommended.
