The restaurant has monopoly and milks its customers like cows. Given its high prices, I went for the risotto, which was one of its cheapest meals on the menu. I got served one sleeve of rice and an equal amount of shameful business practice. In hindsight, drinking seawater for lunch would probably have been a better idea.

Decent food, good service from my waitress and great ambience. But experienced racism with a waiter straight to the face. Wouldn’t go there again and certainly wouldn’t recommend if you’re not a white man.

Although the beach was beautiful. The food was beyond a joke.
I plate of very plain cheap pasta salad was over £18.
Poor quality, basic. Something you would pay no more than £2.50
in a super market, plonked in front of you by very rude waiter.
No condiments or napkins offered. Just a fork.. We paid almost £45 for 2 terrible salads and a coke. Bloody rip off. Shame on you 'carpe diem beach'.

The beach is really great, but the bar is as it doesn't belong there.
The concept is completely missed. Music is too loud.
Staff is not so polite, a bit rude I'd say. Coffee is not only way overpriced, but bad also. I wouldn't recommend.

HORRIBLE
Everyone in the club was on drugs even though there is security
everywhere. The atmosphere for my friends and I was very uncomfortable from the start as we received abuse from croatia guys. Not that great for Polish people due to racism. Worst place I have visited in Croatia would not go back and would not recommend to anyone unless you are Croatia. Horrible atmosphere when you have people next to you in the club doing sexual activities. Does not even deserve a 1 star rating!

Go to another place
Nice beach but the food was expensive and Horrible,
most of the staff were not very service minded.
I recommend: spending you day at a different place.
for example, DUBOVICA super nice beach
with good restaurants

Went during the day to relax with friends. Extremely relaxing, the service was efficient. If you're going for lunch I recommend having one of the salads. Carpe Diem is the only place in all of Hvar where I was able to have a large hardy vegan-friendly salad.

The club is definitely over priced even as a tourist music is trash not good
house music they need to get tips from hulahula beach!
Drinks are over priced for what it is and it's kinda like a status club rather
than a good club. Best thing to do is go get a bottle of rum and drink at the beach with ur own music.
The club is trash, drinks are super super bad, Animations are cheap

Carpe Diem Beach is the most overrated place you can ever think of. The setting is interesting ( where you take a boat to get to the party island ) but the setup on the island is cheap and not as advertised. Music was not so great, the cheesy dancers on stage were ridiculous, and the drinks tasted funny for some reason. I would not recommend it ! Stay away from this expensive and overrated place.

As a daytime venue, this place is amazing! Get there before midday to nab a lounge chair, then spend the whole day relaxing, indulging in food and drink and swimming. There is a ladder into the water, which makes this place easier swimming than many Croatian "beaches". Great place to enjoy a day in Hvar.

Love some of the reviews for this place complaining about the music being repetitive (it's called deep house old man, the jazz club is on the main land) and the staff not caring (probably because of that confused look on your face). Anyway, I loved it. During the day the place is chilled and the food is pretty decent (the have a good wine selection (non-Croatian 🎊🎉🍾)) and at night it turns into a club with a pretty cool vibe. If you under 80 you'll enjoy it 😉

Absolutely the worst experience in HVAR / STIPANSKA. They could not care less about the service. Without shadow of a doubt, I feel that the restaurant's employee / management treated me with no respect and with a pointless anger, despite the fact that I was simply a customer and I paid well for a good experience during my visit.
