Fantastic place to visit, with a very big history. Money exchanges are all around so they compete for your business which means you get a good rate of exchange when you need more cash. The people there are very friendly and make you feel welcome and the food in the restaurant was excellent.
It's a lovely scenic spot with lots to see and do. Tours for islands, neighbouring areas can be found from main Riva. The bank holiday was celebrated in honour of the saint of split which was bustling with people, market stalls and music.
The most attractive place and place with the biggest crowd in Split. Probably the most beautiful women in the world are walking around Riva every day. Best place for coffee, lunch and dinner, outdoors with sea view. Moderately reconstructed Riva with a vast place for sitting outdoors, beautiful benches in greenery of palm trees and fragrant sea is only one detail that makes Split a special city.
Beautiful part of Split, with many café-s and good atmosphere, great restaurant, amazing view of the sea and iconic place to visit while in Split
Diocletian's palace is just a minute away. Good choice of food, beverages, souvenirs, desserts and place to enjoy the hot summer days. Always full of people.
Lovely seaside promenade! Great location, lots of seats and chairs and many cafes, restaurants, kiosks etc. If you want to find out how many tourists there are in Split and what kind of languages they speak, take a seat and start observing! Solid spot for spending the whole day too if you have experienced ”everything” in Split already!
A nice place to stroll along the waterfront and people watch. Many restaurants and shops. It was busy even in early November, I imagine Summer could be crowded.
Fantastic open space with lots to see and people watching opportunities. Lovely views over the port and marina and out to the islands. Always something going on.
Lovely place to visit. Plenty of boat tours to go on. Fantastic scenery. Great night life, busy but not to loud. Food is great also a fairly good choice for vegans as well, Need to look a round a bit though.
A cool place to visit. Very clean and many people at the middle of September.
Parking is pretty expensive, 15-25kn (2-3.5 euro) per hour.
The harbor next to old town. At the harbor there are offers for island trip named Blue lagoon trip. It is cheaper than tripadvisor's offers. It looks pretty same offers.
Good place to walk along the water, cafes, some stands, and benches. Sit by the water or on a bench and chill while you take a break from walking through the historic city centre. It's very busy here, but that's part of its charm. For drinks or food I'd advise you to look a bit further, for more authentic and less overpriced options. The view on the sea is quite nice!
Pleasant place to go. Well organized, full of options and with a beautiful view. There are a plenty of restaurants over there, but I do not recommend to go to them, they are over priced. If you walk around or use google/trip advisor for some hints you can find better restaurants and fair prices.
Good port with interesting old town and good shopping
Best place in split for enjoying in the city , you have a excellent view on sea , and sunsets
The most popular place in town for coffee on a sea front, filled with cafe bars, pizza cuts, jewellery shops.
Nice place amazing old town but place smells horrible all the time and it is not really clean. Hope it will change in future
Beautiful area of Split, combining history with modernity in a way that doesn't feel forced. Stunning buildings bump up against a busy, working port and an ancient Roman palace, and none feel out of place.
