Excellent Scuba Diving. Very healthy reef system with a variety of corals . Lots of sea life. I saw whale sharks 4 out of five days (late April). Your experience may differ.
This the best maintained / built resort I've been to in the Bay Islands. Great meals with excellent presentation.response / report this review -

I can't say enough good things about Utopia Village. We stayed April 23-April 30. The diving was excellent, the food was amazing, the accommodations are wonderful, but the absolute best thing about Utopia Village is the customer experience. Every single person on the staff and the owners are the nicest, friendliest people. It went beyond fixing problems or answering questions; the staff went out of their way to provide service way beyond our expectations. Beautiful lunch spreads in the pool, sending our favorite snack on the dive boat with us, planning each dive based on what the divers are excited to see, providing a wonderful slideshow of pictures from our trip to watch in the library, even writing down recipes for the amazing food (I could not leave the island without the recipe for the carrot soup)! We knew everyone's name by the end of the trip, and although the location and resort is AMAZING, the thing my boyfriend and I were most sad about leaving was the people.

I just returned from vacation here and it was absolutely amazing. The staff, the accommodations, the food, the diving and everything else was above and beyond any expectations I might have come with. The owners and staff truly go beyond the call of duty to make your stay unique and catered to your needs, it was perfect! The name is fitting, it is truly utopia!

It is all about you. If you plan to come for great diving or be away from the maddening crowd this is the place where U are in the center of all. They will take care of you. Great Cousine, Bar selections. It is only one stop from either Houston, Dallas, Miami or Atlanta.
