We did our open water scuba class here. My favorite place. High quality and low key. Not as busy as other places. They have free accommodation if you are diving.

Great staff! Great prices! Accommodations are lovely. I just wished they would put some hooks up in the bathroom. Diving with them is a treat. Everyone is so friendly! Highly recommend!! I love the atmosphere of this place. Very cozy and family like with all the other divers hanging together. Not a crazy party place which is nice since you often have to wake up early for dives.

Had a great time diving at Alton. Great atmosphere, clean, comfortable, amazing staff, free kayaks, nice deck with hammocks everything we were looking for and more. Great place for backpackers who want to dive.

This was the friendliest and most welcoming place to be! People were so friendly. The accommodation is newly built with comfortable mattresses and there's a little cafe that serves great toasties! There's also a little kitchen so you can cook for yourself (although it lacks cutlery). The staff were great, I was quite nervous and my instructor Malin made me feel really confident and I ended up staying on to do my advanced PADI! I also needed prescription goggles which they sorted out for me so easily. It's not a party hostel but a sociable place (we all had a bbq one evening) where we met some great friends. I would definitely recommend this dive centre as a place to learn.

Really cool and laid back dive shop. I did my rescue here with Aly, a freelance instructor who was a lot of fun to work with. I also did a few night dives and fun dives, they have super flexible schedule and very mellow environment. Professional DMs with good gear and a focus on diving vs partying.

The hostel is pretty clean and out of the way so you can avoid the noise if you chose to.

Great diving club, with a highly professional and friendly staff. In my opinion, they have the right equilibrium between a super nice atmosphere and the respect of procedures. I felt in safe hands at all times, and the divemasters were always doing there very best to show us interesting things under water.

Great dive centre with friendly staff. Very professional instructors and good equipment. Dive trips everyday and courses at very competitive prices. Good chance of seeing whale sharks. Dock and accommodation is very relaxing and bar closes early so it's not noisey at night (there are plenty of places near by to party). Good breakfasts and lunches at the restaurant and also a kitchen for use.

2nd time here and I came back for a reason. It feels like family. The staff is awesome, the gear and boats are well maintained and the divers here quickly become friends with each other. Many trips to the north side, Captain Erik is awesome finding whale sharks and dolphins, Dive master Beto always finds the coolest and smallest stuff, well worth it to dive with Altons!

Spent 8 days here and loved it. Great dive team made us feel really welcome and we're happy to hang out. There was a great chilled bunch of guests there too. I did my advanced open water plus some further fun dives.
Can't wait to go back!
