One plane cracked into half today while landing. Very tough runway to land

I think am a Savage due to the experience of takeoff and landing, if you do not know God this is one of the best places where you will have a pray prior to landing.
Airport is built in the middle of the city with several mountains around and that makes that only small and medium airplanes can land here and requires the best qualified pilots.
The people that helps you with every service into the airport is a 4/5 nice, most of them will show you a happy face by saying you hello or have a great day!
The airport is very small, less than 8 gates and with only one and short runway, one good thing of the airport is the easy access to/from anywhere of the city.
Security is good there, the treatment for incoming people should improve, looks like sometimes they select random people to check their baggage, looks like they search for new and packed goods to apply surprise taxes to your things.response / report this review -

I visited this country in 2015 around September and had a fantastic time. I preach my first International sermon in the dark because the power went out. Lydia's bed and breakfast was outstanding. I was always in the presence of warm and friendly. I would love to go back.

It is always an adventure to land in the Toncontin Airport.
Very short runway in the very middle of the city and surrounded by mountains.

Graveside services for Glenn Leffler, 73, Aledo, formerly of Milan,
are 12:30 p.m. Monday at Andalusia Cemetery. Family Funeral Services,
Aledo, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Leffler died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at his home.
He was born May 7, 1926, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Harry and Elzada
(Simmons) Leffler.
He was a forge machine operator for 31 years for John Deere Plow
Planter, retiring on May 1, 1978.
He was a WW II Army veteran.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include daughters, Kathy Stevens, Denver, Colo., and Beth
Anderson, of Texas; sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian and Vickie
Leffler, Aledo, and Bruce Leffler, of Texas; five grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Pearson, Taylor Ridge, Helen
Mosher, Rock Island, and Shirley Wilson, Sherrard; and a brother,
Donald Leffler, Milan. He was preceded in death by his parents; and
brothers, Gerald Leffler and Ralph Leffler.

The airport is on the smaller side, with a well known and adventurous takeoff and landing, which I have no problem with. The design of the airport is terrible, such as the support pillars located right in front of the check in counters. Additionally, after you have checked in and shown that you have a ticket to the initial security check, you will have to show your your paperwork to another three individuals before you actually make it to the security screening. Each of these stations back into each other causing congestion. Additionally the terminal seems disorganized as they would announce gate changes only for one flight when many were effected, and we ultimately left late even though our plane was waiting at the gate. Though the food court is small it does offer a neat view of the planes taking off and landing. However, be warned that once you enter the terminal you will not find anything else to eat besides small snacks.
