Rooms are Great attention was excellent but the sent a note that they where going to fix something in the water system between 12am and 4am, and that there will be no service at those hours witch was fine but at 7:30am there still was no water, and that's no good for me.

Clean, elegant, exceptional guest service, 2 great restaurants, outdoor pool with bar. Pool area turns into dance/live music and dj. Centrally located with taxis on demand.

Nice hotel nice restaurant! We liked the people that work there. They are really nice and helpful, it shows that they are happy to work there.
The buffet needs to have more options, but over all good food.

A really nice Hotel to stay at. A little bit over priced but tolerable. Really close to Multiplaza Mall, and they hay free shuttle service to the mall :)

I had to change my rating for two reasons:
1) The hotel is overpriced.
2) Worst New Year's Party

My family and I payed for this New Year's Party that was in our perspective too overpriced for what we received in exchange. Maybe as a group our opinions could be different, but in my personal case, I would not pay to go to this hotel for several reasons other than the New Year's Party. One of them having awful food, that makes you feel unappreciated or unwelcomed. Most of the staff is really nice and very polite, but that's just about it. Decoration is mehno variety, nothing interesting, so for the price you pay for a room in this hotel, you easily go somewhere else where things are a little better and less expensive.

Very good overall for Tegucigalpa, but some mildew on the bathroom floor and weird servicing of the rooms. For example, hand towels and washcloths were not replaced and water was not given after the night of arrival (even if requested). This is not great service, especially for visitors to the country who cannot drink the tap water. I would rate it lower, but it was good enough and the restaurants we're actually pretty good for the area.

A very good hotel. Amazing staff. Excellent rooms bathrooms have bathtubs. Great gym that offers membership to locals but it doesn't get crowded. It has Dry sauna and steam room plus showers. These areas could get a retouch someone detail oriented needs to take a hard look if this are SPA areas for a higher end Marriott tegucigalpa. All other areas are high end, why not keep spa like a Vegas resort? It looks worn. But other hotels are more bare bones. A ice touch that steam and sauna are free to guests.

Two good restaurant the regular one and the sports bar like on premises with a small cafe serving light fare. Sporta bar hosts a live band on some nights. A huge plus is an American airlines office on premises. Very nice pool too. Close to mall plaza and free shuttle to mall is offered. Breakfast buffet very complete and lunch theme buffet offered on weekends. Meeting rooms available. Rental care counter on premises too but I never saw the agent.

Sometimes the rate gets on the higher side and not sure it competes well with newer hotels that are around corner so very much in same neighborhood. But I think a good value when rate is decent. Of course that depends on supply and demand.

Of the three options available (near the
Mall, casa presidential, upscale, newer hotels), the Marriot seems to be more elegant while having reasonable value. Always my first choice. Friendly, non-snooty employees, beautiful lobby, easy parking, and the only hotel in the area with a coffee shop, and it opens at 6am for early risers. Superior breakfast. Good views from the upper floors.

Marriott is a Marriott wherever you go in the world. Great service and the staff understands everything that I have ever asked of them. I would recommend staying here for those who are traveling to Tegus.
