Excelent place to visit on weekends with the family. It is open all days of the week. Until 9:00pm. Perfect to see the citylights of Tegucigalpa. you can ride a bike for a fee, canopy ziplineThere is a good cafeteria too.

A lot of walking but a very interesting Park. Spectacular views of the city of Tegucigalpa of many of the important landmarks. Definitely worth a stop. Need caution at present because of the political issues in Honduras. Tegucigalpa is a sprawling Metropolis with a lot of poverty. The best way to see the city and experience it is doing a short-term mission trip with a reputable locally-based mission. World gospel Outreach Fields teams almost every week of the year. Excellent facility for the teams an excellent opportunity to serve and to church as a week

Peaceful and relaxing park. For foreigners it's 30 lempiras to get into the park, then 10 more to get into the area around the statue. Don't balk at the extra 10. It's well worth it as the park around the statue is really pleasant and peaceful with a number of paths to explore.
