This is, by far, my favorite place - here's why
We were met at the airport, with open arms, from one of the nicest people I've ever met - Sylvia.
Without skipping a beat she had transportation already arranged with her driver - Johan and was easily able to accommodate myself and the eleven others travelling with me. After only a short ride by car we arrived at the beach house where we were met with a helpful staff, a well manicured property, and a beautiful view.
The place was very clean, our rooms were excellent and fit our needs exactly.
The purpose of our trip focused mainly on scuba diving and this is where the fun really began, our local guide (and instructor) Chris had excellent knowledge on both marine life, the local topography and was a great person to spend our holiday with.
We were also diving with two dive masters Jacob and Carlos.
Jacob was an amazing diver and great personality, he was always right where you needed him and floated along as if he was born in the sea - also and excellent hunter (lion fish - an invasive species). I teamed up with him after some training to join the hunt A memory I'll never forget.
Carlos was someone with amazing dive master skills, a great personality, and the guy that you want on every kind of vacation. Not only was he exemplary in his diving skills and able to work with every level of skill in our dive team from novice to professional but also a fantastic guide and host. He is a fantastic cook and always made sure everyone was well taken care of. He kept us on track, ensuring that we were well fed and always had a smile on his face. Truly someone I hope to see again!
Sylvia - our beautiful host, had everything organized and made sure we always felt at home. Also, she brought us to some exciting local spots where we had lots of fun, great food, and lots of drinks - she wouldn't rest until she new everyone was happy. She is truly a great leader and great person to spend time with.
I can't wait to go back! I loved everything about this trip and give it my highest recommendation!response / report this review -

There is nothing more to say than, I met a family of friends that invited us into their lives to share their purpose and passion with ever single one of us who was there on our trip. And left no ones memories and lives untouched.
Chris our lead diver, his calm nature, incredible knowledge of the area, the water, and in diving as a whole. Who actually wrote a padi course, in which we got to learn from the writer himself and had a blast getting certified. We the divers and the staff from Scuba 2000 broke some of his own records for diving in a day and in one week. :P
Carlos, for whom the moment he stepped into a room, you felt his presence, and underwater his passion was inspiring, trying to involve each and every one of us with something new everytime he crossed a beautiful find. And when we didn't have our regs in our mouths he was filling them with laughter and our minds with knowledge.
Jacob, an incredible enthusiastic diver who helped and escorted our group above and below the water giving us a real feel of his life on the island.
Sylvia the queen of hammerhead opened her arms to use the moment we arrived at the airport and her knowledge and history in the island was a beautiful touch as we made our way to the dive center and our home for the week. No one could of expected the experience we shared on this trip and will be one of the most unforgettable but not the last times diving with hammerhead. We are already planning to come back.
If it's your first time or your 100th time to Roatan. This is definitely the one place I'd say that will bring you memories and times that will never be forgotten.

Honestly Best Dive Center!! The Dive masters and service are Top level. I started Diving with those guys few years ago. got my Open water and came back to do Advanced. Good Service, Their Gear is new, Dive masters know the dive sites very well, so each dive is very existing!! Definitely recommend this place. Location is very comfortable, right at the beach, so you don't have to take boats, just walk in and go.

Victor & Melanie dove here with Tony all week and had a great time. All the staff are so nice and the operation is set up very conveniently. Paired with Fosters West Bay Resort and the dove shop is literally 20 steps from our door. The equipment is first rate with BCDS with integrated weights and the best breathing regulators I've used yet. If you're used to strap on fins bring your own as the ones supplied are slip on. Or wear some thin stretchy socks and Dale will be so impressed.
The diving right out in West Bay is excellent! Turtles nearly every dive and seeing Tony spear an invasive Lionfish then fed it to A LARGE Green Moray is not to be forgotten.
