This is a great resort at the end of West Bay Beach in Roatan, Honduras. We've been here for the past two years and will most likely return next year. It's in the quietest stretch of West Bay Beach with great snorkeling just off the beach.

This place is amazing! I can see how if you’re older or can’t walk that the condos on the hill might not be the rooms for you, but everything about this place is perfection. We loved the condos and didn’t mind the walk one bit. Some people’s reviews talk about dirty gravel etc. the landscaping is fantastic and the landscapers bust their butts every day laying down new gravel, raking leaves etc. The pathways are well kept, and also part of your every morning realization that you’re in paradise. The wait staff is all outstanding we loved talking and hanging out with Cristian, Kenny, Arnold and the rest of the crew. The office guys Charlie and Winzel* are great. They’ll answer any questions you may have and take care of you 100%. You want a vacation and to relax? This place is it with a truly VIP like experience.

This place far exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful, the staff are incredible, the beach is absolutely breathtaking, with the added of bonus of being on a stretch of beach with dozens of resorts and beach bars. A little walk down there beach and you have access to everything. The snorkeling outside the resort is spectacular! We will be back!

The room is decent and the people are very friendly. But. The service is quite slow, the waiters tend to disappear for long periods of time, and I don't think there are enough (one of the best said that he is working double shifts for days). The internet can be difficult to connect and it is wide open (But it is password protected at the restaurant). The food is mediocre, at best, and the menu is very limited. But the included breakfast is average only because the selections are limited. The omelet is quite good. Drinks are reasonably priced and happy hour lasts from 10 am till 6:30 pm. But beware the wine. It is very expensive.

Very clean and beautiful resort. Had a very good and knowledgeable tour guide. He took us through a beautiful forest hike that included interaction with monkeys and Macaws. Afterward we went to a beautiful beach. The buffet was good also.

Incredibly beautiful site! Grand Roatan Resort has planned well to meet the every desire of its customers. Exceptional snorkeling right from shore. Laid back restaurant right on the beach. Friendly staff.

Luxury accommodations with amazing staff that are always willing to assist in any way possible, the grounds are well maintained ad very green. No day passes for external or cruise ship guest which is a PLUS for them. Swim up bar is the best. Highly recommend this place for anyone

Great location and very nice staff. The beach in front of the hotel is small but is very good to do snorkel. Breakfast is good and menu options for lunch and dinner are OK, but it might be repetitive if you stay more than 4/5 days.

This is a very nice, quaint, quiet and clean resort. The people and the staff are exceptionally nice and helpful. The rooms are very nice, the beach is perfect for snorkeling. It by far it is the best resort on this strip of beach.

This place is breathtaking! The only down fall is the locals constantly asking you to buy things they are even in the water and will aprouch you therewe eventually asked the secuirity guy to get them to leave us alone and then it was fine! Also I have never been to the beach where there were beautiful tropical fish to be seen it was so cool!

The Grand Roatan resort is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy your vacation. The accommodations are fabulous and 1st class. The staff is great and so friendly, helpful and on top of anything that you might need. The bar, grill and the food is great. The beach is so nice clean and beautiful, the water great, and the snorkeling is fantastic. This has been the most enjoyable vacation we have ever had. Hats off to the staff and management of the Grand Roatan resort.

We only ate here but the food and service was EXCELLENT. Get the big seafood platter for 4 people.very good! The updates they've done on the bar since Grand Roatan was built turned out great. My husband left his hat on the property and we returned the next day and it was in the main office waiting for us. The units look beautiful and the grounds and pool are top notch. Our family is staying there next week, can't wait to hear what they think.

Spacious units. Nice finishes in new resort. Secluded beach location (comparatively). Good maid service.
Restaurant is not good nor always well staffed. Sandy pathways dirty or muddy to navigate to pool, beach or restaurant.

Very nice place!!! nice appartments ! i love the shower. Staff is very good and friendly. I recommend the baby back ribs at the restaurant. I'm coming back for sure!!
