My husband and I planned a trip to Roatan for the Christmas break and were looking for an intimate setting with all the amenities of a large resort. We found Caribe Tesoro and couldn’t have asked for more. The location was perfect. Close enough to walk to the beach, restaurants, and dive shops, but set a bit apart so as not to feel crowded. The room we stayed in (Champagne) was magnificent, comfortable, beautifully decorated and offered both a private balcony and shared use of another balcony. Plenty of seating and lounge chairs everywhere. The saltwater pool and swim up bar offered refreshing drinks and delicious food all day long.

But the most wonderful attribute about Caribe Tesoro, that you wont likely get anywhere else, is the unbelievable people who made our stay so comfortable and so welcoming that we can’t wait to go back. Michael (MJ) will move mountains to keep your drink fresh with a smile from ear to ear. He is constantly moving keeping everyone happy with food and drinks. The ladies made beautiful meals and kept the property immaculate. The owner Guy and manager of the property were constantly making updates and touches to the property to make it better and better for the guests.

We can’t wait to go back to Roatan. For the weather, for the food, for the diving, and for the warm and friendly stay at Caribe Tesoro!

Nice location in between the crowded beaches and private beaches. It has a home feeling. Great compromise between price and amenities

I really enjoyed my stay at Caribe Tesoro, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We ordered food from the bar on several occasions and the bartender offered to bring our meals to our room! I love the fried plantains with chimichurri and guacamole. Breakfast was tasty, you can't go wrong with the "tipico" option which is beans, tortillas, 2 eggs, steak. For dinner I had the fish option with rice and beans. My sister enjoyed the fish tacos. Overall the food was yummy. The beds were comfortable and all amenities in the room were great, the room was spacious and clean. My only complaint was that they didn't have everything on the menu available, for example they did not have the breakfast burrito or French toast during our whole stay, on day 3 they were running low on fruits and they didn't have fried plantains, on day 4 they didn't have beans for my breakfast dish or pineapple, on the last day they had 1 banana left lol. The only dessert they had during our stay was key lime pie, we decided to try it one night and it was scrumptious! The next day I wanted to order it again and they were out, I was heartbroken! My feedback to them would be to hit the supermarket regularly so they can keep their guest full and happy.

As far as the beach, it's beautiful! They don't have beach chairs available but we were able to use the beach chairs at Bananarama Dive & Beach Resort as they are affiliated with them. It's about a 5 minute walk there, even though it's fairly close once you arrive there it seems like a different beach, it's busy, lots of people lounging around and in the water. It's more secluded by Caribe Tesoro.

All in all I would definitely return!
