Came here for a missions trip to Kid's arc international. First time ever being involved with a mission group, the place was very welcoming, the food was great and the rooms were cozy, time of year weather was excellent @ August not too hot, traveled to near by cities (Las Vegas) and such on our way to the kid's arc, looking forward to visiting sometime soon.

The front desk service was the only good thing here. The restaurant service was very slow and appeared to be bothered when asked for more water or food. There was a cockroach leg on the table in the morning. The second night we stayed we had to change rooms three times due to either losing power, no hot water, or the room being infested with ants or spiders. The view is gorgeous, but we will never be staying there again.

Love it! Been coming to this place since I was little. I've always enjoyed my stay at the hotel AND the food. Although it is kind of expensive compare to the other local places , it's worth it.

We had a wonderful time here! Highly recommend the sopa de caracol. It's a little expensive but they serve you a HUGE bowl. We walked over the bridge and saw the boats they do tours on the Lago de Yojoa. We were ready to leave but inquired about riding horses. We were told it would be about 10 min but it wasn't until 40 minutes later we started our horse ride. That just made us lose time at our next destination the pulhapanzak waterfall. It would be fun to stay overnight here and do the boat ride next time! Also close supervision of kids on the see saws is a good idea to avoid injuries.

A change in the administration will give a new image to this place.
Everything looks old and without use.
    Food is 5/5

For a relatively poor nation, this hotel is surprisingly posh.
