Having been to some of the "best" steak house in Hong Kong, honestly my expectations were not optimistic to find a spectacular diner in HK.

We had a group of 8 with kids, the complimentary parking (don't matter if you don't drive) was a bonus. Sat down to in front of the open kitchen, normally this would be an annoyance, but the kitchen was pretty professional, the staff knows what they are doing, the music and ambience noise was a bit on the loud side.

We order 50/50 soup (half cream of mushroom and half lobster bisque) and oysters for appetizers, the oyster for the night was french, wasn't as creamy as other variants but very fresh and has that french sting it was great.

We order Rib eye for the mains, I loved the hard char grill scent but my sister wasn't so fond for such strong char coal scent. I suggest if you want something a bit lighter taste you can order other items in the menu. The real gem in the sides was the mash potato, the finish was super smooth and creamy, remind me of the British style mash potato.

For dessert we went for the molten chocolate cake recommended. A vanilla scoop on top of the hot spongy exterior of the chocolate cake with a spectacularly runny molten chocolate interior. That was fantastic.

Overall experience was great and I love where you can pick your own preferred knife for your steak (if you know your knife work well)

As a steak lover who has been to the best steak houses in the USA, Japan, Germany, Brazil and UK I have to say this was the BEST experience I ever had. The salat buffet was incredible, the meat tender, juicy and just on the point perfect the ambient wonderful and cozy. And the service really really good, it felt like in a 3 Star Michelin restaurant but with much more personality! Just great! Will come back for sure!

This was a highly recommended place to eat steak and surely did not disappoint us! We ordered the 32 oz tomahawk steak and it fed 4 adults. We had the choice of 10 kind of steak knives from all over the world and choice salts too! To pair with the steak take the Portobello mushrooms and their spinach. That time they also had a salad buffet that includes cheeses and other cold cuts. It was really good! It's pricey but worth it!

The steak house offers 10 steak knives from around the world. However , for the price point , other steak houses offer better value in my view such as bistecca and the beefbar in central hong Kong island. Nevertheless if you do go, the new York strip and portobello mushrooms are must try. Ambience was lacking for me and tables were too close to each other which was emphasized by a low ceiling .

The steakhouse served hk only charcoal grill,provided ten kind of steak knives from different countries and eight different salt to rock your tongue.

I choosed the the T-bone steak knife which is made by Italy Sambonet and tried all the flavored salt. To be honest, the original flavour rib eye is too delicious that the salt sometimes steal the steak's spotlight. In my personal opinion "Any kind of truly tasty steak tastes best when it's only grilled.

But if it provides more spaces between tables it would a 100% perfect restaurant

Background: we are a well traveled couple who appreciate high quality, service and the value of money.
Story: Called for a reservation, the person told us there is a dress code. we come to the restaurant, it looks like a pub, where people wear jeans and hoodies. they give us the table in the way close to the kitchen, no relax, just watching waiters passing by. looked like they just pulled out the table from the storage to make an extra buck over the weekend from the westerners. We take the wine list and OMG, are you kidding me? Ok, they do have a good wine list but did they check the 000 on the price given the place? We order a decent white wine, takes 10 min to get it, In the meantime no one to ask for our food order Then the waiter comes shows the wine and leaves for another few min. Coming with an open bottle saying they had to open it in the cellar to taste it first??? The wine was ok. we order a starter: nice sea food tower (not to be compared though to a decent European restaurant). While we are enjoying the platter, the waiter comes and adds red wine in my white wine!? Never happened to me in my life Waited 10 min for the waiters to have their internal conversations to give me a glass of wine for me to finish my meal. We decided against stake given the experience. They dared to bring the bill charging the service fee. On the top of the already ridiculously overpriced food and wine. Are you kidding me???? What service??? We came for the experience and had a bad one I refuse to pay the service fee, the assistant manager comes, then goes to look for a "manager". 15 min later no one comes. We left cash on the table and left. On the way the "manager" catches us and in a broken English tries to make us feel better saying "these things happen"Really? Then they need to know how to deal with it better, may be? 5 min later we get a call from the real manager (I guess he took the number from our reservation) who said they wanted to give us change because they waived the service fee Thank you, Sir. Put the difference to charity please. Never again will we go back. Dear management, figure out first how to create a great customer experience (cooking good food is not enough for the price!) vs trying to rip off people without a decent service. if I were managing the place I would be very very very embarrassed to see how it operates

For good seafood platter and authentic charcoal grilled steak, this is the place. Lunch service offers much more value for money, but it's usually quite crowded and noisy.
