St Stephen’s Beach is quieter than some of the other beaches, but getting more crowded lately. Finding a parking spot takes impossibly long if you don’t arrive early. Fish among the rocks near the dock are interesting for small kids and the waves are not too rough

It was nice a small beach with less number of people around d on a holiday as well. Which is hard to find in HK. It has less number of people because most of the people go to Stanley main beach and that is always crowded with lots and lots of people. so the choice is yours :)

Very nice beach, you may enjoy the sun light and sea breeze. The sea quality always good. Kids would enjoy the swim. However, too much stone under the sea which make me deduct one star. Bring your slippers when swim is recommend.

Nice beach with a pier that can fish at, and a large barbecue area nearby (waves may splash onto the road to the area when the tide is high). Not very crowded but is some distance away from Stanley plaza. Not enough parking spots for private cars.

Small uncrowded beach , however the bar has recently went away and therefore nowhere to get drinks, byod, bring your own drinks

Secluded beach. A short walk from Stanley market (800m). Good for private picnic. There is a government water sports center next to it.

Beautiful sunset at St. Stephens beach. It has much less tourist compare with the main beach. It is very quiet and calm. Mostly western tourist come here.

Clean drinking fountain giving cold water is a plus especially when there are no stores around. Nice view from the beach facing Stanley Market. With fewer visitors, the beach is quiet. The shore within the swimming area is not really rocky. Outside, there are lots of emerged rocks among which one may find sea urchins and crabs. The sand near the washroom is a bit too coarse; further away near the pier, it's finer tho.

The quiet side away from Stanley beach. Don't expect it to be empty though, there's still a small crowd. But the sand area is farther away from water so you get more “room” and feel less crowded in general. Make sure you bring your own food and drinks there tho, the shop there is not opened all the time. If you're there in the late afternoon, you'll be able to catch the sunset like I did.

Great beach in HK! It's a bit off the shot and therefore not overcrowded. There are showers and a beach bar with good simple food, outside seating only, but with umbrellas to get a short break from the sun. The Greek Salat I would recommend in this beach bar.

Really nice stuff and very helpful and in setup and rescue. Wind is most times off-shore with wind shadow from mountain. When going further out wind is more steady. Lifeguards patrol at edge of sailing zone to bring you back to safety. They are very nice and very good at getting you back and being nice and understanding of windsurfing difficulties. Beginner boards over 200 litters are in poor condition but advanced windsurfing boards and sails are really good. Place has other sailboats too including 420's, catamarans and kayaks and more. I highly recommend this place for experienced sails.
