great department store (10+ floors) and their semi annual appreciation super sale is manicNeed to line up to get in! They also have a fantastic Teppanyaki / sushi restaurant on the top floor!

Apart from the fact that it's a really crowded mall especially during weekends, this place actually houses a lot of different brands and types of offerings like you'd find in many departmental stores. The promotions that you get from this place is exceptional, and they do give deep discounts from time to time. If you're buying anything for the house or for friends, look out for them deals!

This is a well-known Japanese-style department store. It sells a wide variety of goods including clothes, handbags, leather shoes…etc. Overall, the price is expensive. The ground floor mainly sells cosmetics. There are so many makeup brands, and the beautiful girls love to stay here.
The ground floor of the basement is a supermarket, selling mainly Japanese food. It is very crowded.
Sogo is popular with mainland tourists. I often see them shopping in groups. That place is also a concentrated place for young people. I often see them gather and eat, drink and play.response / report this review -

Definitely the largest department store in causeway bay. Incidentally I noticed a Rolls Royce 200EX parked just behind. Sweet. In my opinion much better than Bentley. All the major brands are available here.

One of my favourite malls in Hong Kong! Each level is devoted to a single product (bags, shoes, etc.) which makes shopping more easy and fun. Pricey brands - look for sale and be prepared to navigate through very dense crowds. If you want to check it out in peace, go either early when they open at 10 am or late at night before they close.

It's really busy here. Especially on weekends. Or when they're on sale. Definitely when they have a sale on weekends. Having said that, they do offer some amazing deals a couple of times a year. Some say it is worth a trip to Hong Kong just to shop here. To each their own. I shop at SOGO because I trust their quality. And because it is a department store where I can purchase clothes, electronics, kitchenware, cosmetics, AND groceries. Everything under one roof. Be sure to check out their bakery in the basement.

Extremely crowded when it's on sale. It's really hard to walk around because every spot was full of people. But it's not that bad on normal days.
A good place to find a variety of branded fashion products.

Department Store containing various selections of items. You can possibly find anything here! They even have a large supermarket. Usually not that crowded.

One of best shopping mall in Hong Kong. You can find almost everything there. Convenient too. After shopping, I feel tired and go to have foot and body treatment in Happy Valley. To my surprise, I can meet so many foreign residents enjoying Zenxes service like me. Super!

The food court is large and impressive, however, a bit too cramped. Take out a few aisles and vendor booths and it would be a much more enjoyable space. I always feel claustrophobic in this place but it's a good spot for a quick snack or Japanese grocery option. Has fun food vendors all along one wall, most of which you watch the food being made in front of you. Every area is well designed. Just not much space to let it all BREATHE.

Now that hysan place is across the street, SOGO is showing it's age with no windows inside. But the bottom floor has a nice open area with many vendors selling gifts and desserts similar in style to japan. I've only bought stuff from a cake shop called lullucas and the young staff there were really nice.

A comprehensive 16 floor shopping mall with restaurants and supermarkets. Thankful week every May and November. U can enjoy big sale in those weeks.

Unfortunately, Sogo is symbolic of much that is wrong with Hong Kong - crass commercialism, greed, selfishness and the pervasive me-me-me mentality.
My recent visit to Sogo department store in Causeway Bay was one of the most miserable shopping experiences I've ever had.
Apart from the shop being crowded and disorganized the staff are incompetent, rude and appear to be mostly focused on burying their faces in their mobile phones.
Browsing the men's underwear section an assistant heard her phone ring, pushed me out of the way whilst treading on my foot in a rush to get to her phone. None of the staff offered any assistance. I left without buying anything.
I made a complaint through the website and was ignored. Very disappointing.
Hong Kong generally falls way way behind the rest of the world in terms of customer service but this is a new low even for Hong Kong.
On a positive note, the supermarket in the basement has a small bakery which sells some fairly decent bread by Hong Kong standards. The staff their are generally welcoming.response / report this review -

This mall got a lot of big name brands in it, so get ready for some big price tags. One major downside is that things you buy here cannot be refunded or exchanged, very strange considering most large stores allow some kind of exchanges and SOGO is a pretty big department store. Losing one big star.

Variety of goods can be found. Fresh market at B2 level was re-opened on 22 apr 2017 after renovation with lots of Japanese food/snack.

The renovation is in progress. The supermarket is basement will open up a new face in mid April, and the cafe in that floor will be gone. Another restaurant in the same group will be still on 11th floor. It is quite a confined place for shopping, but mostly you can get what you need in a single block. Spending over 800 can enjoy complimentary parking.

SOGO is a lovely place to shop but the staff will give you a very strange look staring at you from bottom to top. and choose there customer.
I don't quiet know is it a HK people thing to do but one thing it's Rude.

Huge mall with so many consignment shops and different brands, you can spend the whole day here just shopping to your heart's delight. The basement Japanese confectionery area makes you fee like you have been transported to Japan. You can find the famous Hang Heung wives biscuits here too.

High class mall, perfumes on the ground floor, ladies clothes and mens clothes with luxury brands. Includes sportswear and relatively common brands. Cafe on 4th floor. Lots of shop assistants and pretty things like amber and pearl on sale in display cases. English well spoken.
