The cakes there are really delicious, but they are not cheap at all. Cheaper choices are all around this area like Maxim’s.
This patisserie is really famous but I haven't got the chance to try it as it closes at 2030 (so early by HK standard)! Finally got the chance today but I was disappointed at the rasberry Napoleon. Good-looking, expensive, but nothing superb in tastes!
Yummy birthday cake, worth for the price
The mango mille feuille we had was excellent - well worth the price tag.
I went to the store to buy a birthday cake for my mum. Usually I won't go to this store because I had another place that I would go to but I decided to give this store a chance since I saw the high reviews. When I went in, it was rather quiet and I was looking at the cakes they had. The staff didn't bother saying hi or anything like they thought they were too busy or I wouldn't buy anything. Time passed and a lady walked in to pick up a cake. The staff seemed to lighten up and began packing the cake for her. I finally chose a cake and they seemed genuinely shocked that I could afford it. The cake was so-so, not as refined as I thought it would be. It wasn't really exciting? Anyways, if you like the store, then go ahead. But I really wasn't that big of a fan.
Beautiful but overpriced cake
Very nice bakery.
I have visited this place many times before. But my recent purchase was somewhat disappointing. ☹️ My boyfriend always get the New York cheesecake from Tony Wong whenever he happens to be in Kowloon City. It’s his favourite. But this one was noticeably not as good as it was previously. The texture was somewhat dry and the taste was different.
And I got the Mont Blanc, which turned out to be the worst Mont Blanc I’ve ever tasted! There was no chestnut taste to it. And it was very dry and I had a hard time washing it down. I don’t know what happened to this cake shop! I hope it will rebound next time I come!
Have a Sweet Day With Patisserie Tony Wong
Expensive fancy looking cake, perfect for party.
Very very nice staff service!
Not very impressive and not worth
taste good but price is relative high
Beautiful and tasty cakes, quite pricey but still worth it. Can pre-order cakes.
Cakes are not overly sweet, they're not like the typical heavy dessert that satisfies your craving for a week. You do not devour a Tony Wong cake, you eat it like you drink high tea. Savour each bite! By afternoon, many cakes are gone.
