Good view
Very interesting little houses! I believe these date back to around 90 years ago and the story was that these were built and resided by early missionaries.
The houses are all locked and unused right now. But people would camp next to the houses; a good location to camp overnight to watch the sunrise.
Crowded during public holiday
Remember to wear more clothes if you are about to stay overnight
great hike with awesome 360 views. very little vegetation cover so if coming on a warm or sunny day bring lots of water and hat or sunglasses if possible.
Very nice heritage and landscape
The 3rd highest peak in Hong Kong, this is not an easy climb, approx 550m ascent from Pak Kung Au bus stop to the Sunset Peak, and the decent from there is as steep as it is coming up which is a very big challenge.
The scattered houses are interesting and the view at the the top of the mountain is wonderful!
Sunset peak (tai tong shan) phoenix trail session 2, the third highest mountain in Hong Kong. This camp site was built long long time ago, it like a heritage that built in this mountain. Great sight with magnificent scenery.
