30.04.2018: they surprised me that salty crepes tasted pretty good, i even like it better than sweet crepes, lobster salad and scallops with mushrooms on crepes were very interesting, make dinner reservation via Openrice get 20% off..
The crepes here are more chewy compared to the Japanese style soft textured ones. 90% of the customers are expats, locals probably prefer the softer version.
Mediocre crepes. Also did not care for the unfortunate “each person must order something” policy, especially when the place is almost empty. It’s not customer-friendly. Will they go out of business if the occasional customers share? Is it really such a problem to allow people stopping in with a friend or partner who don’t want their own item? Pretty lame.
This place has a nice assortment of crepes (and galettes) for you to chose from. Taste-wise, it's not too bad either. Sadly, the galettes we ordered arrived cold, which left a bad impression
seriously one of the worst dining experience. We ordered 6 pcs of oysters which were well too skinny and overpriced. The other food we ordered included the crepe and lobster pasta were okay but nothing amazing. Most importantly the service was bad. One of the waiters which should be a trainee never served the dishes properly as we would hv to move our dishes again and again so that he can fit the plate he serving on our table. Other staffs only did the very basic but not too friendly. While me and my friend were still chatting, they seemed to want to kick us out by asking to collect our plates a few times within maybe 10mins. The point is there were still a few empty tables and no one was waiting. DONT GET THE POINT OF PAYING SERVICE CHARGE AT ALL. WONT COME BACK
A taste of Britany! 😀 French crêpes and galettes of all kinds, not expensive. The staff is very nice and smiling. Best crêpes in hk!
A nice place to come for both savoury and sweet crepes, with a large selection of both.
The manager is always really welcoming, and whilst he is encouraging you to try something else on the menu he is never too pushy.
The crepes are always good, and can be surprisingly filling.
The first time to the Wan Chai branch, the crepe still tastes great! The lunch set is at great value as well. Though I’m a bit disappointed with the mussels, which are very tiny :( guess I’ll just stick to crepe
great prices, tasty food! I had the galette americain. service was quick, friendly and the location was cozy, not too loud
Portions were generous and the crepes were good, but a little burnt (can taste it). Staff seems friendly but not always attentive. The lunch special is a great deal if you can finish two full size crepes, one savoury and one sweet. For most average appetites, one crepe is already quite filling.
Decent food, decent prices. The desserts are especially good. Minor complaint - The cider cup is a little small, wonder what the measurement is?
Good crepes and galette. But noisy, and the butter and sugar crêpeis just a big mistakes there ,if you expect a classic one.
Reviewing only the service. A man who I presume to be the manager or owner of this restaurant was completely unprofessional. My family and I came in around 9pm and the restaurant was packed so we had to wait for a table. After being told that the wait would be about 5-10 minutes, my mother decided she did not want to wait since she just wanted a quick dessert after a long day at work. The manager chased after us saying he had asked a party of two to leave so we could have their table. He told us how rude WE were being for leaving after HE kicked two customers out. We had not asked him to do so and he kept berating us for not taking the table. Completely unprofressional. You are in the service industry, learn how to treat customers properly.
This place was a daily stop for good coffee ad nice naturally gluten-free galettes (buckwheat slightly thicker crepes). A bit hard to find since it's in the second floor of what looks like a normal office/residential small building. Friendly service as well.
Nice staff and reasonable prices. Decoration is typical of restaurants in Brittany.
Galettes (saulty crêpes) are quite average and kind of disappointing if you compare with standards in good restaurants in France (not bad but not good either). Dessert crepes are really excellent.
Limited selection of drinks but all are quite good.
The dark wood tables and chairs and the sailing theme make my hair down every time I step in this French cafe. The crepes are so delicious pairing with a cup of coffee.
A nice cosy place tucked away on the 1st floor, great place to have a chat and the crepes are nice too! Very affordable price
Tasted good. Lunch set included one large crepe, one small dessert crepe and a drink. I felt satisfied after having the set.
The crepes are so unbelievably good. They have galettes made from buckwheat flour too which is naturally gluten free and they were able to hold the cheese and butter for our toddler who also has a dairy allergy. The service was so friendly and personal and we felt very comfortable and welcomed. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there were no queues and we could get a table straight away. Not sure what it's like during lunch and dinner though, especially on weekdays.
Good value French food of nice quality. The Brittany fish soup is always a hit with the family. Today we tried the mussels and French fries, which was nice. There's so many crepes that we do have a tendency to over order. Make sure you save enough stomach space for the sweets because we often inadvertently fill up on the savory ones
