Nice assortment of butter cookies particularly for tourist's gift. To be honest, I am not sure it's worth to visit here and even wait in a long queue. Luckly enough, there were just a couple of guests when I visited here. I was planning to buy several cans of cookies, but I couldn't. It's a really shame this shop takes only cash.

Great cookies from a famous bakery - I've been shipping these to friends abroad for the last few months. A tad expensive but the quality and the brand of square cookies is always a hit when tea time with good friends rolls around.

We got to the store around 2pm and the line is not very long. Quite a few items were sold out already. Luckily the butter flower cookies and the 4-mixes are still available.

The cookies are delicious but the customer service is the worst in Hong Kong.
The person who served me was an auntie wearing glasses.

If possible, do not go to the branch in Sheungwan. The service is horrible, especially a middle aged lady. She was rude and scolded us just because we did not understand certain instructions. The way she kept demanding for the money which we were in the process of giving her was atrocious. I called the other branch to ask to speak to higher mgt. They apologised n said will get manager to return call but I highly doubt they will do so. Twin Bear Cookie, also in Sheungwan, is much better. If there is a negative rating, i would have given a minus 5 rotten eggs.

Personally not the biggest fan of Jenny cookies, just because I've heard so much about the queues, just for butter cookies - although I must admit that it's indeed nice cookies. It's heavily patronised by tourists, and do expect when people buy so much that they need luggage bags to transport the goods. After purchase care is good, in that bubble wraps are provided, and does make for good gifts. But that's probably as much value as it provides given the high price for cookies.

The cookie may taste good, but customer experience is utterly awful. The company is well-known for its racist, discriminating attitude toward HongKonger as Jenny's believe most of us are poor and is not match for their luxurious cookie that cater only rich Mainland- Chinese customers.

Last month I went there, asked the lady there if I could try their cookie before I buy (in cantonese), she then asked me to "buzz off" because they were too busy serving customers. When I heard that, I felt so offended and I continued questioning the lady why she had to speak to me like that. She then said they had many customers and all of them could afford their cookies, so I should either take it or leave it.

I'm typing this today as i saw the news about Jenny Cookie's on Yahoo! And as a customer, I feel that it is my responsibility to tell my fellow HongKongers that their bad business practice shouldn't be encouraged.

We should stay strong and boycott those business whose sole purpose is to sell off stuff to mainlanders, including Jenny and those bad-faith drug-store.

我很懷疑Jenny's bakery這家上環店員工要不是家庭成員不怕被炒，要不跟老闆有仇想老闆快點執苙，態度不是一點的差，還會歧視旅客，不管中外（2個阿嬸店員以為別人不會聽，就在那說是道非。）曲奇還可以，跟butter shortbread 差不多，但感覺奶油和牛油用更多。
I think Jenny's bakery 's employees are either family members or hate their boss so much that want the store shut down soon. Their attitude is not just rude but also discriminate on the tourists because they think most of them don't understand Cantonese so they can talk bad behind their back. My sister who works in that area says most of her colleagues hate it so much and it's only popular to tourists who didn't know them well but heard from those press. The cookies just taste like butter shortbread , but I think they use lot more butter and cream to make it more fluffy.

I went in the morning and luckily I didn't have to queue or meet the notorious rude lady. I bought three only for my friends and I'm glad that I didn't buy one for me. The cookies are soooo greasy that more than two pieces will make you feel sick. I'd rather recommend you to buy cookies at Lord Stow's Bakery for souvenirs and they're even cheaper.

Another over rated place with owner (the middle aged lady who wears glasses, you know who you are) that behaves like a jerk. We were early arriving at the shop. This lady showed up, announcing to my wife and I, "THE LINEUP STARTS THERE!" Pointing to a spot 3 meters across the shop. We didn't see any instruction requiring the customers to line up across the shop. Even if there was such an instruction, she could have politely instructed us. It's mind-boggling how people gave top rating to this place. IMO, an establishment needs to have good product and customer service to be top rated. Spend your money elsewhere where you are welcomed. I am sure in a competitive Hong Kong market, there are a lot more bakery shops that are much more excellent than this shop.

What a long queue for cookies! But it was a must-buy for my friend so we queued anyway. It was a particularly pleasant experience as the staff weren't very friendly (as expected), but they did manage the crowd in an orderly fashion. On some popular days, there's actually a limit on the number of boxes you can buy. And if you queue multiple times, the storekeepers may stop you from buying as they may think you will be re-selling the cookies elsewhere!
Nonetheless, a good gift for friends and family if you're here on a holiday. I like the butterfly cookies more as they are crumbly and buttery. I did hear that the mixed nuts ones are nice too but they're always sold out!

after a long long queuing, you'll finally meet the rude, no-smile, pushy staff in this shop with nothing else but a cashier counter. PLAN AHEAD what to buy, or the staff will give you a dirty look.

selling just some normal cookies (of course they are buttery. but aren't cookies supposed to be just like that?!) maybe the customers/tourists are after the "cute" bear cookies metal tin.
