The view is amazing. Get there to watch the sunset, dusk and night. The food was really good but not the best food for the pricestill no complaints. A lovely atmosphere. Try the duck pancakes
A very decent fine dining restaurant in traditional Chinese style. It is value for money having considered both the food quality and view. Recommend booking 6:00 pm so that you can enjoy the day time, sunset and night time view (and the laser show at 8:00 pm).
You'll be hard pressed to find a more spectacular view of Hong Kong than at Hutong. Besides the view, the interiors and theatrics of the restaurant, the way the dishes are presented and the occasional noodle making are added bonuses of truly delicious and authentic tasting Chinese food. Every time I go, I order the Mandarin fish fillets in Sichuan broth and even though its Sichuan spice knocks my head off, it is by far my favourite dish. Be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment with your seating location in the restaurant.
Great northern style Chinese food. We joined the package that included a boat trip in Victoria harbor after dinner.
The dinner was very good and higher than KY expectation. View was good and you can see the whole Victoria harbor.
Very beautiful view of the harbor and decoration. Not impressed with the food. Pork ribs is so sweet soaked in the sweet sauce with no other flavor. If you are looking for a beautiful view rather than the food this is a must.
Garry and I spent two nights at Hutong which made our stay in Hong Kong all the more memorable. Great ambiance, food and staff make this a must do in Hong Kong
Went there for the 18-course brunch! 3.5 hours food and drinks, just for a small additional cost (HKD200) free flow champagne and +HKD100 for free flow soft drinks. Incredible experience!! Highly recommend. Stunning view, food and entertainment!
I'd give 5 stars really for the setting and amazing views of Hong Kong. But the food was just alright (some really good, but nothing spectacular) but let's be honest, it's really about the views here despite all the claims about the food.
A great restaurant with a great view over the Hong Kong. It is a nicely designed restaurant. The food was quite good but a bit pricey. The view was really nice. It is a good place for lunch when visiting Hong Kong.
Hutong Champagne Brunch with free flowing Veuve 2008. What an experience 🤤 Sichuan/Wuhan style cuisine that was jam packed full of flavour, precisely balanced seasoning and no hint of heaviness or oiliness. If in Hong Kong I recommend booking yourself here, and make sure you upgrade your Champagne from the Veuve NV to the Veuve 2008, it's only a little more but very well worth it. Brunch and free flow champagne $780 HKD ($130AUD) per person. Rating 9.5/10
Incredible panoramic views of Hong Kong island. Food was cooked to perfection, especially the Crispy ginger infused chicken. One of the best meals I have ever had, a truly special evening.
This is a Chinese restaurant that is managed by Aqua Group. Apparently, it has the best view in TST, but I had a hard time finding the entrance to the building so I was lost for quite a bit. When you enter the restaurant, the interior is fancy and breathtaking, but after a while, it started to look a bit cheap to me. Overall, considering the location and price, I didn't think the actual dining experience was all that great. For example, the table setting and the service could have been much better. The food itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything over the top. And there's a 2 hour limit, so you can't really linger for a long meal. But the sunset view was beautiful, so it might be a good place to bring a date. To be honest though, for the price I paid, I'd rather enjoy a meal somewhere else.
The weekend brunch is fantastic. Quality food and service. Amazing views
Spectacular views! If you go for dinner, try to book before 7.30pm and request a window seat towards the far right. This sets you up well for the light show at 8pm. The venue is great for groups as it is a tapas style menu. I enjoyed the mixed vegetable dumplings and beef tenderloins in oyster sauce. I didn't mind the Malbec too.
This restaurant has a phenomenal view of the harbor and downtown Hong Kong. Time dinner reservations so that you can watch the daily light show at 8pm. The ambiance is fantastic. Having the lights dim allows you to really enjoy the city lights and feel cozy with the family or romantic with a date. The food was delicious. The Lamb was awesome and the Bok Choy DLish! Staff was very professional and friendly! This is a great place with the best view in town!
Amazing decor and buffet. Food was great and the service was excellent. Definitely worth the price.
Love the decor. I accidentally walked into Hutong as I was making my way up to Aqua. This place is enchanting. I hope to come eat here one day!
Great food, service was exceptional. The restaurant is dark as others noted, but I really like that. The tables are lit so you can see the food. I will come back.
Great view. Great food. Not super spicy - so maybe not fully authentic Sichuan! But everything else is great. Tried the brunch for the first time last Saturday, and enjoyed the range of dishes also!
The first unpleasant thing is lack of lighting as if the chef tries to hide something from the guests.
Perfect view over city if the weather is ok.
They gave good discount for local expensive wine because we took set menu.
This restaurant is located on the top of a building near the harbour and it has a great view on Tsim Sha Tsui and its shining lights. In order to make everithing more impressive, the lights in the restaurant are really (too) low.
You can come here to try the original chinese cuisine and its spicy and flavoured food. In the evening, you can usually assist to the expertise of the noodle master before tasting it.
Good place to have a relaxing night, but not for a business dinner.
Quite pricy.
Great food and ambiance. Stunning views on Hong Kong skyline and harbour. One of my favorite places in Hong Kong.
