The foods are great, but I think the waiter forgot my order since it took around 30 minutes for my pad Thai order to come. Also it was 10 minutes after I asked for it.

A smile would also be a good gesture from the waiter/staff while letting their customer out from their seats.

Authentic Thai cuisine. Service is always attentive and mindful. Lunch crowds start from 1215 till 2pm.
Best to call them for reservations.

    Goong Makam Prawns EXCELLENT😋

The GOONG MAKAM PRAWN was a clear standout among appetizers and my only complaint/mistake was - “why did I not order two??”🥇😋
It had a nice TANGY taste coming from the Tamarind sauce, while the SPICINESS was coming from the red chili. And then there were thin slices of nuts (cashew/almond) sprinkled on top.😋
Definitely a nice and complex dish where multiple tastes came together perfectly!Certainly not cheap at $138 but I do think it’s worth it.👍🏻
Btw, this appetizer was listed on a separate small menu which had a handful of special appetizers listed. so I’m not sure if the dish will remain permanently. SO, HURRY!!!

The other appetizer was Thai Pop (Chicken). This one is available on the regular menu. Another great dish which is a nice supporting actor to the star i.e. the Prawn appetizer. If the Goong Makam Prawn were to be called BATMAN, then the Thai Pop would undoubtedly be ROBIN. 🤩
These were crunchy deep fried fritters of chicken and onion covered in a thin layer batter. The thin layer is good because it doesn’t overpower the main ingredient i.e. the chicken.

The drinks - Iced Lemon Tea GHC Style and the Thai Iced Coffee were quite good too. Especially the lemon tea.

Among the MAINS, the TOM YUM SEAFOOD FUSILLI was very nice. It had a mid-sized piece and some scallops and calamari. And a good dash of tomatoes. Definitely a good example of Thai fusion, combining the Fusilli Pasta with the Tom Yum flavor.😋

The Spaghetti Carbonara had nice bite-sized pieces of ham and crunchy pieces of bacon.. and very generous amounts of creamy sauce.👍🏻

I could go back to Greyhound just to taste that first Appetizer - GOONG MAKAM PRAWNS. I just might do that next weekend!

You can get much better Thai food anywhere else. It was expensive and the food was mediocre. We went only because the environment looked spacious and relaxing for us to bring our baby. However, they do not have high chairs and the service was super slow so our baby got very cranky. We had to follow up twice just for a coke order that was placed at the very beginning. As for the food itself, you can get better food at the food court. I only have this place two stars because the environment was less crammed than many other restaurants.

Dishes and utensils were not even clean .And the service was nothing to praise about, you sit, you order, you eat you pay and then you leave The waiters/waitresses will not go out of their way to ask you how your day is going or give you any recommendations.
What's memorable was the salmon .It had the right amount of flavor so that it wasn't too flavorful or bland. The Tom yum soup was just ok for me. The location is ideal though.

Didn’t have to wait since I went at 11:45am. The place tends to get busy at noon. Cannot be compared to the one in Thailand since the quality fluctuates a bit, but the iced lemon tea is a must try :)

Appalling, horrifying service! Queue with 10 tables available and servers seem uninterested. Mediocre food for expensive price

Food quality fluctuates quite a bit. What is consistent though is the appalling service. Waiters will purposely avoid eye contact so they don't have to respond to your request, food orders goes missing, your glass of water will never get refilled. I watched a waiter, while setting a table, make eye contact with a pregnant lady who is waiting to be seated, look away and pretend she wasn't there. The restaurant was half empty. It was not a busy time. There is no excuse for such service.

A bit over priced. And they always miss part of my orders. Better staff training are required.

I went to the Shatin one, but can't find the Shatin location via google, so, I leave my comment here:
We total 2 adults and 1 kid, have ordered Pad Thai with prawn, Pad Thai with mushroom, and Satay with pork. The pad Thai are tasty with lime juice delighted. Satay is fair with such price.

Total disregard of customers' needs. Music suddenly became loud & instead of adjusting the volume, staff Clement with no apology said their boss likes loud music. Arrogant attitude.

We went to grey hound cafe at IFC yesterday (at 530pm and it was half empty with lots of tables) and ask for a table and the following was the exchange between us and the rude waiter:

Waiter: U have to return the table in 30 minutes exactly!!! (Rudely)
Us: So we have to order, wait for your kitchen to prepare the dishes and drinks, eat in less than 15 minutes or so and pay and leave immediately?
    Waiter: Yes!!! (More rudely now)!
Us: So what if we can't finish our food and drinks within 30 minutes??
Waiter: That's your problem and too bad for you (extremely rude and with a constipation look on his bloody face)!

So you have lost 2 customers forever and social media will explode when we have time to highlight this real case and unless something is done to find out who set this ridiculous policies and apologize to us then we will take time and effort to notify as many HKGongs and everyone in this region as this is definitely not a service oriented company who cares more about turning tables and never customer service.

Contrary to other reviews here I found the atmosphere relatively good for a mall restaurant, menu choice was varied, service and food delivery was fast, and staff were friendly and efficient. Much better than Open table next door. No free wifi unfortunately doesn't make it a venue you can work from

Today I went with some friends to lunch at ifc mall. My friends wanted to try the Greyhound Cafe restaurant so we queued up for a table. A few people got a table before us but no problem because they had booked a table. then I saw a lady talk to the maitre d. he gave her a table, even though she had not booked a table. then i saw her give him $500 note. I said to my friend "so that's how you get a table here" (in cantonese). the maitre d heard me and said "If you don't like it, then leave! (very rude in cantonese). I was so shocked that he would say that to a customer waiting for a table. It is outrageous and I am appalled by this place. and I made a complaint. My friends and I went to Isola instead and had a nice meal with great service.
