I had samosa & mixed vegetable curry with jeera rice here.
The taste is awesome.
My wife and I had a drink here. Despite very high prices they tried to sting me by not charging in UK dollars but in pound sterling my home currency which had I accepted would have involved me paying a conversion charge to Visa. Pass them by better alternatives elsewhere
Drinks and food here taste really bad, not worth the money AT ALL. Everything is ridiculously overpriced. Never coming back again, worst place ever. Despite the awful food n drinks, the waiter who served us was really nice and should seriously consider getting himself a new job.
Biggest rip off ever. Cold unappetising breakfast. Inattentive, indifferent service. Will never come back here again.
Just had the worst service here from the young girl serving drinks.Surly and downright rude!!!!!! The only reason I have added 1 star is that the coffee was pretty good. I just wish I could have spoken Chinese to tell her what I thought of her. As it was, I did tell her in English but it obviously made no difference as she carried on with other customers in exactly the same manner!
Bad service and bad food. Vegetable curry was a vat of curry broth with veggies includingcorn. Not worth the money and also not worth paying for the seat because it is crammed and darfty. Would never go again
Deco has been a HK institution but it's true the service here at the airport can be remarkably slow. Order as soon as you are seated (ask what's fastest like the pasta), ask for the bill early.
It looked like a nice place to have a drink and something to eat before my flight, but after being seated with only a drinks menu (no food on it) for over half an hour with noone serving me, I gave up and left! My blood sugar was so low by this point that I felt very unwell. Not worth bothering with this place, there are plenty of other places to eat/drink in the airport.
Go-to place HKG Departures fast and easy food and drink on the way to my flight Go to the lounge side, better servicecharging ports for your cell phone.
Was at Cafe in HongKong International Airport on 24 May 2017.
Waited about 15 minutes to be seated even though there were many vacant tables that were not cleared.
Exorbitant prices considering it is only a café. A bowl of soup cost HK$90, a bowl of chicken wonton soup with rice cost HK$198. When my order arrived, there was only a piece of children wing with partially attached breast and four very small pieces of vegetarian wontons. A cup of coffee latte served in a paper cup cost HK$75. Quality of food is average.
Eat there only if you do not know what to do with your excess HK$ and do not mind poor service.
Incredibly slow and bad service. Been here twice now. The first time I walked out after not getting served for 20 minutes. Second time I had to harass the staff to get me a beer within 10 minutes. Only one person behind the bar, about 5 aimlessly milling around the tables trying to avoid eye contact with customers. It's not even busy. Avoid if possible. Sadly there are not many other options.
The food is so so but what to expect at airport. Still better than the meal on the plane.
Service is very bad. They have the sign "please wait to be seated" --- my husband and I waited for almost 20 mins for us to be seated. There were servers walking past us but just kept ignoring us. And of course, there are lots of tables available. Poor service.
Way too expensive - 160HKD for a very bland margherita pizza. Too small in comparison to cost. My food also arrived much later than my dining companions. Their coffee and large pop was 52HKD and my small water was 47HKD. Service was normal for us.
Poor service. My wife and I received our plates separately and effectively ate "alone". Pad Thai was not fresh (noodles were dry, very bad Pad Thai). Expensive- 370HKD for two persons
Service is good. They gave me menu to read once I walked by and asked if I want hot cold or warm water. Food is ok and environment is comfortable. View is nice sitting there
