Chilli is great, music is definitely not my taste, and the staff is the regular confused HK staff. One waiter went to get a knife and a fork, and then left with the same knife The place attracts a drinking crowd later in the day, so don't go here for a quiet dinner.

Keep this in mind: five stars in this case means that in the context of Hong Kong based Mexican restaurants, this place is very very good. Does it compare to a place in say, Tucson, LA, or San Antonio? Probably not, but it's solid anyway and I like it.

If I'm not mistaken, one of the managers/owners is Hispanic and there are dishes on the menu I was surprised to see, like the delicious queso fundido. The Guacamole was authentic and freshly made, and there was a very strong tequila selection. It is a little pricey (especially as an Arizonan who knows how much Mexican food usually costs).

This place totally outclassed Coyote (the over-the-top Mexican place right across the street) in terms of atmosphere, price, and quality. If you're on HK island and want upscale Mexican, this is the spot.

A place of a great fun and nice music! You can enjoy your meals as well as the nice vibe around. We got acquainted with a nice crowd sitting next to us and had fun!
Nachos were tasting quite nice, I would add more chillies though. Quacamolle was fresh and melting on your tongue.
Casadillias were slightly smaller than in South African Mexican restaurants but still looking ok.
Atmosphere is good in general.

They offer 2-4-1 happy hour and are famous for freshly made nachos, classic margaritas and a wide range of finest Tequila (100% Agave). I'm fond of fresh fruit margaritas instead of using canned juices.

The acoustic and sound system are "terribly bad".

Agave Tequila Y Comida is one of the popular places for 2-4-1 happy hour gathering place in Wanchai. It is famous for freshly made nachos, well-balanced margaritas and finest Tequila. But I personally prefer to fresh fruit margaritas which is more refresh and less sugar by using canned juices. The sound system is terrible.

Most authentic Mexican restaurant in HK! The chef, Luis Porras, is actually Mexican and has given this place an authentic menu overhaul while keeping the favorites untouched. The set lunch is very complete and a good value. Definitely worth a try if you work nearby.
