Super bad service. Food was awful and slightly to cold side. Can taste that the ingredients was not fresh. Not sure how the outlet could get so many awards but could be standard has dropped tremendously. Now only frequented by non-asians mostly. If i could give no star. I would. Avoid at all cost. There are much better dim sum elsewhere
I start to like this type of dim sum place better than the sit in type dim sum restaurant because most of those now are factory made dim sum and not used actually made in house any more. We picked all the recommended dishes and all of them are delicious. There is a bit of wait all the time but usually you get seated in 15 to 30 minutes. We will come back for more and highly recommended.
We arrived at 9:55am as it was just opening, and there were already 4 people waiting. By 10:15, it was slightly more than half full. The food was delicious. Good milk tea too. The servers and cashier were friendly. Can’t read Chinese? They have menus in English, Japanese and Korean too. Definitely coming back
Excellent dim sum, easy to use menus with English descriptions. Staff attentive and reasonably priced. One of my favourite Dim Sum restaurants. Quiet early evening but mad busy later.
Dim Dim Sum has plenty of quality dim sum to choose from at good prices. The food came out quick but we had to wait awhile to flag down our server. We enjoyed our meal and would return for a quick meal of dim sum.
This place has incredible dim sum and great veggie options if you're vegetarian like me. Order the mushroom and truffle rice rolls and the egg custard Piggy Bunsyum yum yum stick it in my tum 😍
If you eat seafood you have to try the shrimp filled crispy rice rolls, I don't know the exact name but when I used to eat seafood I LOVED these, AND the spinach and eggwhite and shrimp dumplingsdelicious! !
Staff are friendly and helpful if you're unsure about anything.
PRICES ARE SO REASONABLE ALSO!
MUST GO!
Honestly has great value for money, the buns come hot and steamy and goes well on a cool day with a sip of warm tea. They have a decent amount of vegetarian options and they are succulent. Personally I'd recommend the mushroom shaped buns oozing with piping hot taro.
A classic busy dim sum cafe with a good range of tasty food. The pineapple buns had a delicious pineapple center, and the wontons were very good. The famous Piggy Custard Buns were ok but I didn’t really like the custard in the middle, it was runny and didn’t have a great taste, be careful too, it spurts out if you’re not careful.
They have English menus on request with photos, and the order sheet is in multiple languages with recommended dishes. Staff are very straight forward with little or no niceties. Cash only.
Nice little dim sum restaurant which relies heavily on its historical presence on a number of international journals’ best restaurant lists. Not sure it necessarily deserves those ratings but everything was done well.
Given the reputation, there was a bit of a queue outside (make sure you go in to get a ticket and then come back out to queue).
Dim sum here is great, but the tables are too packed, not even easy to pass through. If you come with few people, you may not able to try different kind of dim sum, but if you come with large group of people, their table may not fit in everyone.
Very delicious dim sum. Vegetarian options available. Comfortable seating. Fast service. I like the vegetables beancurd sheet rolls.
Love it. Many tourists and often crowded, so I try to come in early or avoid the lunch time.
Actually nice to have also elderly locals coming in, so the food can't be too bad ;) we do think it's pretty awesome!
Good selection of decent dim sum at decent prices in a casual setting. Won't go wrong, but wouldn't go out of the way for it either
Fresh hot dimsum for life
We went to get breakfast, got steamed shrimp dumplings. Rice flour noodles and porridge and buns, and everything was so fresh and good.
Compared with their store in Taipei, this is not good at all, not only the store environment quality but also the food quality.
Good dim sum, affordable place, very fast service and very local.
Very local place although full of expats and tourists; We enjoyed everything we order, although the fried wonton and rolls were a little bit oily (something that is quite common for fried food in Asia) the only disappointing aspect were the american expats next to us who instead talking they were shouting , I think everyone in the dinning room was relieved when they left.
Definitely a place to come back again.
Cute piggie-looking bun and pear dessert. However, very crowded inside and the floor is a bit dirty.
Affordable, clean, good service and best of all, tasty & fresh dim sum. Even when it is busy, the food is served relatively fast.
