I had high hopes for this hotel but was disappointed. It only has 2 floors, so no elevator but imagine how uncomfortable it is to carry heavy luggage up the stairs. My room had an old looking rug, the paint was peeling from the wood, it was very dusty, an old rusted mini-fridge, airconditioning remote didn't work, no hot water, and an outdated safe that uses a card which you're not provided with. However, the staff was friendly and the pool seems nice. The only thing I would go back for is the restaurant food I didn't get to try.

Wonderful experience. Clean & friendly service. Beds are comfortable, staff is polite and loved the laundry service. Would definately return.

My boyfriend and I went there for dinner. The service was lovely, the environment was cosy with a classy set up, and the food was just wonderful. I'd strongly recommend choosing here for you fine dining experience. Also the cocktails are diverse and well made and have good prices so your free to experiment with as many of the lovely mixtures as you'd desire. The share sizes are a Tommy full too. PS. You gotta try those chicken tenders. They are just to die for. Will definitely be going back in the future.

Great place to go to lunch and or dinner with the family with a wonderful ambiance. The sea breeze is nice and the staff are respectful and courteous.

There is a spacious open space with a pool nearby to eat or you can eat indoors.

The prices here are excellent and so is the food.

Excellent ambience. Very courteous staff. Delicious food and beverage. Also the hotel is generally quiet for relaxation. Has a small pool and a well stocked bar.

Grand Coastal Hotel treated us like Kings. It was may my 2nd visit to Guyana a very please one to experience. Please note, it is better to drink bottled water and not tap water even to brush your teeth. This is advice for all of Guyana.

A great little Hotel. This is my second stay here and an overall great experience. The food is really good with a mix of international and local cuisine. The restaurant staff is really friendly and that adds to the overall experience.

I'm usually in Guyana for work and always end up staying here. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy hotel with great food.

I enjoyed my stay at Grand Coastal Hotel very much. I had stayed there for eleven days and ten nights in the luxury room. The food was great, room service was fast and, the Wi-Fi worked very well. The prices are cheaper than The Marriot and The Pegasus, and the service was better. Althea and Vanessa were at the front desk most of the time and had help us a lot.The taxi we had called for came very fast and the driver was very nice. I recommend you stay at Grand Coastal in any upcoming trip to Guyana.

Our group of16 family members stayed at Grand Coastal, and enjoyed amenities pool, bar, spa, salon, laundry and gym. The rooms are clean and comfortable with daily refresh and the food excellent. The staff in this resort style hotel is dedicated and professional. Management staff were visible, flexible, prompt and helpful. Even with100% occupancy, the staff works as a team ensuring complete satisfaction. Free WIFI is always great.
