Always worth the stop for breakfast, lunch etc I tried the bake and salt fish with egg ball and channa with a cup of coffee. This is one of the best places I’ve eaten. Also friendly customer service but still need room for improvement I’d definitely recommend

Generally it was good experience and they deserved 5 stars.
Prices - great (not overpricing definitely). Coffee shop is a better place than local shops, clean, AC as well which slightly but works. A coffee 350 $G, pastries 200-400 $G. Worth it but not the freshest condition after lunch.
Service - ok, could be better. Good and friendly if you’re good and friendly with them.
Wifi - works but very slow, they didn’t deny to give a password .
Food - ok, pretty good but not the best.
Coffee - good, I liked.
Toilet locked but no worries, just ask for it and staff will open for you.report this review -

A good competitor to Oasis. Oasis and Magge makes better pastry.
Nice outside seating, clean comfortable.
Good brew coffee. Inside can be better lit and redecorate.
Placr has a lot of Potential.

Good food but a bit over priced. I asked for the wifi password since I had some work but they didn't give it to me even though there was a sign that said wifi was available. The door leading up to the washrooms is locked. No one told me and I just thought it was occupied. Apparently someone has to come open it for you. Not a very classy thing. Anyways, it's Guyana.

Excellent food I have been to Shanta and it have not lived up so was apprehensive. So happy I visited Beacon Cafe their service is excellent. Who gives you an additional free salad these day? Beacon does and it was gorgeous creamy pasta and green vegetables. Please try everything I almost did. Highly recommending curry fish and cook up rice. My daughter loves chicken but rated Beacon Cafe honey Baked Chicken the best 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Excellent spot in terms of centrality. The food is superb taste-wise and prices are affordable for the average Joe or Josephine. Just get there before it finishes as many folks who work and go to school in the area frequent this place during the breakfast and lunch hours.
