  Was more than it appeared to be. Very nice how they used modern interior design to enhance the inside spaces while accentuating and highlighting the age of the structures. That also carries over to some of the exhibits, comparing Mayan art and artifacts to their more modern equivalents. The chocolate museum/shop and the candle shop highlight how some traditional local crafts have evolved to this day.

  This is possibly the biggest museum in Antigua Guatemala. You can see exhibitions of Guatemalan culture, Mayan sculpture, colonial art and history.

  Te quedas impresionado con lo que ves aqui. Esta unido al museo de Farmacia y entre obras de arte y ver el pasado te la pasas minimo hora y media. Aprovechalo si vas. Cobran Q40 por persona

  Really worth it! You get to visit ruins and everything. Plus a really great museum exposition with Mayan art next to modern glass work/art! Great!
