This charity is awesome. They do so much, for so many children, families, elderly, pets, etc., without the gigantic budgets that so many charities can access. Everything is personalized to the specific needs of an individual or family, and sponsors receive letters, updates, etc., more frequently than any other charity I have ever known. The staff is amazingly dedicated, even to the point of delivering food, holiday treats, and other things at night, on their own time. I wish I had discovered this charity years ago, rather than months ago. I am extremely impressed.

I was looking to sponsor a student and Mayan Families gave me that opportunity and more. I get regular updates and photos of the family recieving any gifts I send. Sometimes they can take a while but they are reliable and dedicated. A great charity.

Through this amazing group, I had the life changing experience of staying with a local family. I have since kept in contact with the family who I now consider friends for life.
