Good supermarket with wide choice of items. Everything from fresh fruit and veg, meat, fish and specialist gluten free foods. Also household and electrical items should, all at better prices than most of the other shops in Antigua. Thoroughly recommended, friendly staff and a fast food outlet too!
You can find pretty much everything here ☺️ very convenient
Good prices during happy hour and a few deals all the time. Might be expensive otherwise depending on what you like. Great staff, and English seems to be understood all the time if that's important. Good wifi.
This is a great supermarket in Antigua. It's like a mini Walmart. You can find just about anything you need there.
Sometimes customer service isn't the best, it has a variety of food, dairies, cleaning and personal care stuff. Is the biggest supermarket in town (pretty much the only one) so, not too much to choose from
The most comprehensive store for any needs while traveling and the groceries are the best I've been able to find in Antigua. For those wanting American products, there is a good selection.
Very clean and a great variety of groceries, and around Christmas time they also have snow falling at the main entrance kkk
Super cool
Best supermarkt in Antigua. Maybe a bit chaotic but hey we are in Guatemala :)
Everthing is cheaper than in the mini mercados. Always some nice deals.
For fruits and veggies you find better deals at the local market.
Usually crowded but good products and excellent staff
As good as it gets in Antigua. Best wine prices.
The layout of things within the store is absolutely chaotic and crazy Good luck on finding something! While it is much larger than the small tiendas, it still has extremely limited selections on lots of things, and as others have noted, things are quite expensive compared to, for example, Florida. The one time I tried to use a credit card, it turned into a fiasco, so I would suggest expecting to pay cash. For those who don't speak Spanish, it can be a challenge. Be aware that they are going to ask you how many plastic bags you want to buy at the register, so bring your own carrying bag, or understand what the question is that they are asking when they ask it.
Great new things each week. Good prices too.
One of the few true grocery stores in Antigua (as opposed to the market vendors or small tiendas). However, aisles are VERY small/crowded. Also, as a store which depends on the public, they should be ashamed of their restroom facilities. Often their restroom isn't even open. When it is, it's usually horribly filthy.
There you can find pretty much all you were looking for but didn't find in a tienda but surprisingly it's the same price or even more expensive than in Montreal, Canada. Get your peanut butter before going to hike the Acatenango and a 12 pack of Gallo (when in special it's still more $$ than in Montreal). Take with you a 2 for 1 on leche de chocolate and some real mozzarella!
Has everything you could think to need, as long as you have the patience to find it. Really the only good option for groceries in Antigua. Helpful employees (depending on who you ask), and many good bargains throughout the store. Es una ganga!
Has everything you need for a good price.
It feels like very crowded place. However you will find everything you are looking for. Hopefully all markets in Guatemala were like this
It has the best wine prices in Antigua. However, the quality of their meats is terrible.
I was impressed with the variety of items you can find here, especially being in Antigua
Very good place for doing grocery. Prices are reasonable.
