  The food is dissapointing. Ridiculously expensive and the taste is worst. The place, the view and the restaurant I must admit is beautiful but I was there for the food.

  An ideal weekend getaway spot. Great for relaxing. So peaceful and views r breathtaking. I recommend d lakeview suite or rainforest jr suite for ur stay.

  If you're looking for a remote paradise, this is it.
  It's an hour's ride from Florence airport (not the nicest experience during nighttime if you are driving alone, the resorts' transport was a great solution).
  If you're planning to go anywhere apart from Tikal, it's not an easy ride and will take you a lot of time. That's why we decided to stay in the resort the whole time, and we enjoyed every second.
  The secluded "beach" on the lake is perfect, absolutely amazing (we were lucky to come in the off season, May, and we spent a whole day there alone)
  Staff was amazing, they took care of everything, including finding an amazing guide for Tikal, preparing a snack for the Tikal tour, cleaning and maintaining the resort and the gardens, and bringing food and drinks down the many stairs down to the lake.
  And the food was also very good, with fresh fish and meat being cooked on the grill outside.

  Beautiful main building, nice rooms and a funky Coppola vibe throughout. Neat jungle walk down to the beach.
