Amazing experience wish I could have stayed longer. We arrived very late so it was difficult to get into the park if you make a last minute booking. Also, power is turned off throughout the whole complex every night at about 11PM. WiFi is limited to the restaurant, lobby and pool area.

Waking up to the sounds of animals in the morning was an amazing experience!

This place is a few minutes away from the archeology site, is beautiful and has both tents and cabins. Everyone was so kind 💙 I wish my stay were longer.

The first thing I did was the bike ride with Abdulio which was along the paved entrance road but the perfect perception after a day 1/2 on a plane. He was kind enough to let me speak terrible Spanish- I always appreciate gracious locals who let me practice without being annoyed.

Tikal was amazing, of course.
The tent was comfortable.

You should reward places like this by staying with them because they practice sustainability. They are in the forest so perhaps have to maintain electricity and hot water schedules but there is still 24/7 WiFi that works well and honestly cold showers feel wonderful after a hot sweaty day of hiking.

Easy check in and check out. Adorable cabins with comfortable beds and great showers. The walk to Tikal is less than 5 minutes.

We stayed in the Suite and it was delightful! The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was divine! I could not believe my eyes! We had a small backyard and it had a jacuzzi! When we first arrived they allowed us to check in early and they held our bags for us. I wish we had chosen or been offered to have breakfast/brunch in their restaurant since the place we went to was not very good. We had dinner at the hotel later on and the food was magnificent! The service was excellent, and they catered to our every need/desire. They noticed my Mom had a broken foot and they made sure to give her an accessible room. This Hotel has magically married that rustic adventurous charm, with all of the luxuries of a relaxing getaway. And it achieved it without feeling fake like most resorts I have stayed at. This hotel is a MUST.

One of 2 hotel options, if you want to stay at the entrance of Tikal. Jungle Lodge has a few accommodation options, super nice or basic. Though even the basic was newly constructed and has everything you need. The basic hostel option has a shared bathroom. They're in the process of remodeling the entire place. Pool is pretty nice. Wi-Fi doesn't really work, but you are in the jungle. Food options are basic and overpriced, but it's to be expected since you're in the jungle with no other options.

The main reason we stayed at the hotel was to be close enough to the park to enjoy the sunrise at 6am when the park opens. However, on arrival to the hotel we were told we now cannot enter the park at 6am because ticketing precedures have changed. A park ticket is now required for every day of your stay at the hotel. Also, the ticket office moved 30 mins drive away from the previous entrance location. This means we were stuck at the hotel in the morning, until the hotel sent someone to the ticket office with a car and back in the morning to buy our tickets. This is a complete disaster for us and our short trip, wasting our time. This should have been advertised properly on the hotel website. Additinally, we booked a collective shuttle from Flores airport with the hotel. We were in communication for months and days before our arrival and there was no mention that a park ticket is required to stay at the hotel. If we knew this beforehand, we would of planned our trip accordingly.

Perfect location to access the park. You need a guide to access the park for the sunrise and the was from the hotel was very good. Bathroom was dirty and electricity is cut from 22.30hrs until I do not know I 'll suggest it for the location for sure.

Location is perfect! The staff is very friendly. We got an upgrade so that was really nice. Rooms are clean and waking up in the jungle is an unique experience. The only downside was the food. Breakfast was ok, but dinner and lunch was not good value for money and can get some improvement. And you can not go somewhere else for food as it is really remote.

Perfect place to make use of fact that ticket purchased for access to Tikal after 3 pm can be reused from 6am next morning. Rooms are basic but clean and good in restaurant is limited but reasonable.

Location, location, location! 2 minutes walk and we were in the national park. Room was neat and comfortable, monkeys in the lodge trees, helpful staff and a friendly environment in the restaurant.

Nice lodging but no blankets. Restaurant food was sometimes good, other times not so much. Good location. Howler monkeys were very loud at about 4:30 am.

Super comfortable bed, but took the tour of Tikal that started early so could not enjoy it as much. Room was super large and quite clean. The restaurant was adequate but expensive.

On a purely visual standpoint, this place was amazing. Staff was ok, not overly attentive, but not mean like some other reviews suggest. Power goes out around 10, which was fine because you get to experience sleeping surrounded by nature. We could've used the fan still being on though, since it was very humid. Overall a good experience, but could've been better.
