This place has everything for the budget traveler. You can get anything from a bunk in a shared room to a private room with AC. The restaurant is delicious and inexpensive with a view of the waves. They clean constantly and the pool is clear, well maintained. I came for 3 days and stayed for a week!

Very basic hotel with mostly Guatemalan people on holiday. Pool area decent however during my time there the pool was taken over by family groups playing water volleyball. Very loud and raucous. Ball was flying all over the place and hit my glass, off my lounger and once smack in my face. Completely antisocial behaviour. Staff made no attempt to intervene. I eventually had little option but to move away. Communal toilets and showers. Hotel directly on the black sand beach which is great. 2 nights was as much as I'd spend at the hotel. Surrounding town fairly run down. Locals frown a lot a foreigners. Not somewhere I'd go back to.

Awesome hostel/hotel on the beach (literally on the sand) with great chill vibes. Paid 100Q/night for two people in a private room with 3 single beds and mosquito nets. Free water and coffee, plus pretty good (and not-too-expensive) food. Owner is super nice also, he gave us a lift in his car to the public boat as we were running late! Monterrico is great and hotel el delfín is the best!!

Purchased a day pass while visiting Monterrico Beach during a trip to Antigua. The hotel is right on the beach and has a bar just off the beach. Food and drinks were tasty and we'll priced.

Great location being right on the beach. Staff are lovely and very helpful (thanks again Grace). More of a family vacation spot so it was hard to find peace and quiet during the day. We stayed in the dorm which was very basic and pretty warm at night but overall ok for the price.

A very popular budget hotel right at the beach front. Free strong WiFi, swimming pool, bar and restaurant. Staff was very nice and accommodating, allowed us for early check-in & late check-out.

If the restaurant could do the food better, it would deserve a five stars rating.

Nice pool, friendly staff, and right on the beach..! Perfect place to stay in Montericco. They also take part and run a beach clean, which is desperately needed in the area, so 5 stars for that alone.

The one place that makes you feel like Richie Rich right on the beacha hundred dollar bill will cover a 3/3-nights and meals. Expect: great service, tasty food, lots of laughs, live music and dj on weekends, from shared to AC rooms. The place with the "3'Bs" "Bueno, Bonito, Barato"

Very pleasant staff, good food (a bit expensive for the amount you get), good live musique on saturday, a lot of backpackers to talk to and clean rooms! Can get a bit noisy during the night, being a popular bar. Would recommend for people Who likes to meet people and party!

A great place all around. Staff is super nice and accommodating. Everything was clean clean. There's a good sized pool, bar and restaurant, live music, pool table, hammocks all around. Great spot to chill and hangout and the beachfront location was perfect.

It is defintely a five star hotel for a low budget! Henry was really polite. ! The whole staff treats you like you are the owner! Next to the beach, rooms are comfortable. The bar and the food tasted really good and fresh. I recomend it to everyone! If i visit Monterrico again, i will defintely stay here again! Thank you for the amazing service
