They have a great set up here. They are trying to figure out who they are, they have so many options open to the way they can take the hotel because of the set up. But are very friendly and helpful. If you are a exercise buff plenty of places to run , bike and swim. I would have uploaded more pics but my wife has them all on her phone. I was to busy swimming with my kids in the lake. Rooms are great. Lake rooms have a great view

The staff are amazing! We were treated like family. The food was excellent - breakfast and dinner daily. We stayed in the modest lakefront open-air rooms of the original hotel. The beds were comfortable, and there were mosquito nets over each one. (There are also fancier rooms available with air conditioning and private porches.) The lake is paradise: clear, warm water. Gringo Perdido has lovely docks and hammocks available for you to lounge in and enjoy the lake view and birds. There was also a kayak available for use.
