One of our favorite restaurants in Antigua. I had the tenderloin open faced sandwich with sweet potato fries. Also tried the duck. Sooo good!

Exceptional. Everything we tried was near perfect. Extensive selection of offerings both food and wines. Great atmosphere, cozy seating if you want it, wide open large group seating as well

Service was good, salad dressing was too sweet, could've used some vinegar. Ordered the lomito rare, over cooked to medium well, very good chipotle sauce, the croquettes were a nice addition.

La comida es muy bien sazonada y el ambiente es lindo. Es tan pequeño que el baño está literalmente atrás de la refrigeradora. El lomito no estaba tan suave como esperaba pero en general un lugar que vale la pena visitar.

Tony and his tostasduria is located here. Selling roasted coffee beans (45q per pound) and pure chocolate (100q per pound) fresh-recommend, they packed my orders in nice paper bags, will be perfect present for friends and family

Some of the best food in Guatemala by one of the best chefs cooked in a tiny kitchen. Service is top notch too. Try out the beef and the stews. Must go in Antigua.

Delicious food! We went with the 'special of the day ' options and they didn't disappoint. Portobello mushrooms for starter were delicious. Main meal fish and prawns were cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The prices are bit on the higher end but the restaurant seriously delivers high quality!

A cosy intimate venue, the menu is small but covers all options as well as a special of the day which was surf and turf today. . The food was freshly cooked and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Wine beer and cocktails all available.

Very small quaint restaurant. Gives a good vibe and feeling. Food was spot on, very good. Plan an early dinner to get in before all seats are taken. The did not take name reservations when we visited. We got a nice two person table oddly placed against the bar. But a great little spot. Many people attempted to get in later, but was very difficult for the late arrivals. So be early.

Our first dinner in Antigua was at Hector's Bistro. It's a very small, french inspired bistro, with definite local flair, located right of a fun church square. The setting and atmosphere is a bit small, but very warm and authentic. We had a very friendly, multilingual waiter who made some very good suggestions. I didn't feel like ordering anything fancy that night, and so ordered the tenderloin sandwich with sweet potato fries. It was delicious- SO tender and flavorful. We also each had a glass of a very good sangria with or meal. We finished our meal by about 8:00, at which time it began to quickly fill with local couples, some who couldn't find a seat due to the apparent popularity - always a good sign.

After dinner, we walked across the street to the square, browsed a little knickknack shop, and watched some fireworks before walking back to our hotel.

It ended up being a great night, and Hector's was a big party of that.
