A great place to try out Guatemalan food. The ambience is great and the food is usually for sharing. Decoration is meticulously cute, as they also put some laces at the back of the chairs.

The waiters don't really speak English and we only got the menu in Spanish, but that doesn't mean that your stomach will end up empty, as the staff is really resourceful and will try to suggest the best food for you.

Also worth mentioning at the specials at the end of the menu, where you can get communal dishes starting around 70Q (~USD 10).

Bad customer service, the menus were only in quetzales, and the waiters didn't know how to convert it to dollars, i had to get Google to help me and even then they were inefficient, the food was meh at best and , i do not recommend it tbh.

amazing restaurant with local cuisine and some weekends with a big local breakfast buffet. If you want to taste the real Guatemalan cuisine then you must go there and try all the goodies - Casa Chapin has been my local restaurant for the last 10 years and will always be part of my dining schedule

Nice atmosphere and good food at a reasonable price. This restaurant is vegetarian / vegan friendly, but you need to ask for the vegetarian menu. I had a delicious bean soup with a plate of steamed veggies and a tamal for less than Q60. They also have plenary of options for meat eaters,
