Decently priced place to stay with breakfast included in the morning. There is no common area, so very quite and no social atmosphere.

Hosting scammers. Be sure to buy directly from whatever source you are using.

Hosting scammers BEWARE. Bus from Belize city to Flores and met with a tour guide offering packages out of the green monkey. Tikal, Semuc Champey etc. We booked the Tikal transportation 120 Q for the next day.

Thinking everything was good we went back as they had talked about a package deal with transportation to Semuc Champey, hostel lodging for 2 nights, Semuc Champey and transportation to Antigua for 500 - 650 Q depending on type accommodations. Fast talking Luis accepted our money but clearly and not arranged anything once we left Flores. Hostel had no idea we were coming and the transportation from Lanquin to Antigua did not exist so we had to pay again. In fact would have lost everything if the hostel owner (Greengos) wouldnt have worked something out.

Stop hosting scammers and word of advice to travelers always book direct as it's easy enough vs. long distance packages

There are very nice and accommodating people working here, but you definitely need to know some Spanish to get by. AC is powerful, wifi is usually quite serviceable, dorm beds are nice and free breakfast is solid. Haven't found any cheaper place to stay on the island, dorm beds here are 80Q and I think that's as low as they go on Flores. All that considered, this is a great place to stay for a couple nights! Actun Caves and Jorge's Rope Swing nearby are definitely worth a visit ;)

Our room was clean and included a TV, ceiling fan, oscillating fan, and AC. Centrally located in Flores. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and at least the front office staff an spoke excellent English. Perfect option for budget travel or for short stays.

It's cheap and you get free breakfast (pancakes and scrambled egg and a piece of watermelon) but you also get only cold showers and a lot of noise, if I would return to Flores I would pick a different hostel.

Great prices for private rooms with heaps of space. Excellent travel agency in house. Staff there and at the front helped with all issues. However a bit dull for a backpackers and seating for eating needs redoing.

It's okay for a night. Beds are comfortable but slept right next to the kitchen so it's very loud at night and early in the morning. AC in the rooms, shower was clean

There is an air conditioner in the dorm. You can book a tour to Tikal ruins from the hostel and there is a very basic breakfast. Staff is friendly. Me as a backpacker would not recommend Flores Island because it's very touristic and not much to discover

Good enough. As many people stated, there really is no common area. So it feels more like a quick and easy place to crash. Which is what it is. The associated travel agency is good enough. You can negotiate there. Got them down to 100Q for Tikal and 230Q for an overnight bus to Guat City.
