No tuve la oportunidad de alojarme, pero el ambiente es simplemente genial. Con mucha paz puedes sentarte a ver el atardecer y platicar con la dueña a tomar algo. Es mágico.

I arrived not knowing what to expect, and the manager Gabriella completely took me under her wing and made sure I had the best experience. Staying at El Sombrero was the first time in Guatemala I had only natural sounds at nightit was amazing. I arrived at night, and woke up early enough the next morning to see everything shrouded in mist, and then see it magically melt away as the sun rose to reveal a beautiful lagoon. Then the boat master Juil, a very gentle and perceptive type of guy, took me in their launch across the lagoon to get my national park ticket, see a museum, and then to a ruin where I was literally the only visitor there and got to climb and explore to my heart's content while Juil collected ramon nuts in his cowboy hat. It was perfect.

Apropiado para la aventura en la selva. Limpio y cómodo "claro, con las limitaciones de internarse a tan alejado lugar" El personal fue muy amable, nos recibieron muy bien. Tienen un restaurante muy amplio. Por estar a la orilla de la laguna se puede disfrutar de apacibles atardeceres, hay un muelle desde el que ofrecen tours para disfrutar de travesías en la laguna o para llegar al parque por vía acuática. Precaución, en la laguna hay cocodrilos. Este lugar es tan bonito que debes planear mas de dos o tres noches en el lugar.

Uno de los lugares más hermosos que he visitado, en todo sentido. Se respira un aire a naturaleza pura, totalmente sumergido en la Reserva de la Biosfera Maya, con un Parque Nacional llamado Yaxha Nakum Naranjo. Se los recomiendo si desean vivir una experiencia natural.

Location spettacolare! Camere belle e accoglienti sopratutto le nuove. Cena e Colazione ottimi. Brava Gabriella! Nel lago ci sono i coccodrilli!!!

Utterly amazing location. Sit on top of this temple and listen to the hauler monkeys calling to each other across the jungle. This location feel more relaxed and quieter the other locations in the area. Could not recommend it more
