Not great dorms for the price but very central. Cheaper places by the waterfront, great cafe though.

Great cafe for all your coffee needs. Their service is fast, prices are fair, and coffee is made strong. I haven't seen the hostal but have heard good things from the people I've talked to who stayed there.

Great coffees, breakfasts and baking .
The sitting areas are amazing ,full of all types of bones,plants and flowers . Person taking orders speaks English .

I recently spent a month in San Marcus and visited Circles Cafe many times. You will find people there from all over the world. The food was delicious. My favorite meal was the Tipico, an egg breakfast dish, with black beans, plantains, fresh tortillas and green salsa. I also almost always ordered a cacao with banana. SO GOOD. I wish I'd tried the cold version too, so next time.
Everything is made fresh to order, so if you're in a hurry, I suggest you drop in when you have time to sit, read, take advantage of Wi-Fi or chat with a new friend you're likely to meet, because you will wait a bit for your food.response / report this review -

Very chill atmosphere and very nice staff. It is connected to the bread store so they use their German (baker) bread and French (baker) pastries. They have a variety of menu items for all meals and coffee and tea in all forms. Also a bathroom and wifi. They have nook seating on low benches. Owned by an American, I think.

It's nice. Nice people, nice place. Too bad the coffee/restaurant closes in the afternoon. It's lacking a friendly and cost space for guests in the evening.

Peaceful hostel, there are quiet communal areas outside the dorm/rooms above the cafe's garden. I slept well here!

A wide variety of coffees and cakes/cookies. Beautiful terrassed garden setting with a lot of comfortable intimic spots to hangout with friends.
