Excelente lugar, muy tranquilo y respetuoso. Muy limpio. Los encargados son muy amables. //Excellent endroit, très calme et respectueux. Très propre. Les gestionnaires sont très sympathiques. // Excellent place, very quiet and respectful. Very clean. Managers are very friendly.

Relaxed and comfortable hostel in the heart of Xela. The kitchen and common area are inviting and definitely good places for hanging out and meeting other travellers. Beds are very comfy and the dorm is spacious and has no bunk beds (yay!) It's easy to feel at home in casa seibel.

Casa Seibel was a lovely hostel with a great host in an awesome town! Our group loved this spot. Valeria had great local recommendations and the hostel is situated in walking distance from a lot of great spots in Quetzaltenango. Valeria is fantastic! She not only runs the hostel, but edits an awesome humanitarian magazine (available there to read) and is very engaged in the area. She found out about the work we were doing and made connections for us that will impact our work tremendously. We are so grateful that we found this place and would definitely go back!
