An absolutely beautiful spot on the lake with probably one of the best views! Dita was an absolutely wonderful host, and her loft was beautifully designed and large enough for even a small family to stay. The private dock made it very easy to explore the towns around and it felt very safe. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The peace, tranquility and energy of Anzan House is like no other in Lake Atitlan and possibly the world! The meticulous and open design of the house ensures that all spaces are bathed in natural light. Minimalist design can sometimes feel cold or sterile but the accommodations at Anzan House are the exact opposite - the use of natural materials and intuitive design provides the house with a seamless flow in accordance with the surrounding landscape and makes you feel as though you are one with nature and out amongst the lush garden even when you are indoors.

If you’ve ever dreamt of living in an art museum (I have) your wish will be granted as you will see Miguel’s stunning artwork and Dita’s hand-selected pieces from her world travels curated beautifully, tastefully and unobtrusively throughout the house!

The gentle current of the lake provides both an amazing lullaby and beautiful breeze making for restful and restorative sleep. For a life-affirming zen moment, wake up to catch the glory of a multi-color sunrise with a (sometimes) active volcano in the background and a fisherman or two rowing gracefully through the fog at dawn all just outside your door!

In keeping with the ethos of the proprietors, all amenities are organic and eco-friendly and the linens and towels are of the highest quality. The coffee and food are delicious, organic, locally-grown and lovingly prepared.

I cannot say enough about the gracious hosts of Anzan House who make you feel so at home that you don’t ever want to leave! They go above and beyond to anticipate their guests’ needs and provide the perfect blend of supportive hospitality and privacy all delivered with sincerity and kindness.

Anzan House is the perfect sanctuary for those seeking refuge from busy lives or for those looking to simply recharge and reconnect and I highly recommend it!

An absolutely amazing place! Heaven on the Earth, thats what you are going to see from the comfort of the (beautifully designed) living room. State of the art facility. Highly recommended!

We could not have asked for a better spot to stay at during our time on Lake Atitlan. The architecture of the home is wonderful, not only is the house itself beautiful, clearly designed by an artist, but also it is very functional and comfortable as a living space. There is lots of space to move around and space for light to pour in, but probably the best part is how our rooms were crafted to frame the lake for constant, incredible views. My personal favorite spot was the little table on the deck that stuck out from the front of the house. You can sit at this table in the morning (or really anytime of day) and watch the sun come up over the lake. The setting is peaceful but also provides easy access to the surrounding villages by foot or boat. And finally, Dita is an excellent host. Attentive to not only our needs but also the to the extra comforts that we wouldn't have even thought of.
We cannot recommend this place highly enough.
