Must-see, must-photograph, most iconic landmark of Corfu. The monastery is now only a small Chapel and souvenir shop but it's easy to get lost in its history. Spectacular views of planes about to land, and likewise also spectacular view from the plane. Free entrance.

It is like a gem. You can walk to this little Monastery on the water through a little footbridge at the end of the runway of the airport, almost touching the bellies of the planes.

Mostly the surrounding is nice, the monastary itself is very small. There are a lot of crab around there.

Absolutely picturesque place. And the airport is just on the other side do you can admire the planes landing over your head.

Amazing photos to be taken, not much to do
The place looks as stunning in real as it does on photos. However, once you spent some time taking photos, trying to choose this one second with only few tourists in your frame and seeing landing place there is not much to do :)
Definitely a must see in Corfu, but don't reserve much time for it as you will be bored. Luckily we have spotted a group of kittens playing on the roof of Monastery so we were saved :)response / report this review -

Nice place, not even cause of monastery but even cause of planes. And if you have car, there is big parking lot.
